Great product but expensive way of buying
If you wash your hair weekly or have short hair, these might last. I bought this mini/trial pack as I've used this product before while living in the US and couldn't recall which one I preferred. It's imported so not surprising. I brush shampoo bars down my hair rather than pile up and pummel it into a lather ball. Less abrasive/damaging. This brand is great and I prefer to some of the UK ones - depending on how tightly strung my coin purse is feeling. ;) Good way to try out different bars. I'll update once I've gone through a few more. So far loving coco and argan.

Okay, but...
I've used shampoo bars for a couple of years from various companies and have settled on a preferred supplier. While awaiting delivery of my usual bars I decided to get these to tide me over - any I didn't use while awaiting my usual bars were going to go in my wash bag for holidays / nights away. As a shampoo bar they worked as expected not making my hair dry or greasy as some bars do. However I did have an allergic reaction - I do have some sensitivities but this was the first shampoo bar I have had a reaction too.

Scents are natural and minimal. The price for a starter sample was good. It took my hair about 2 or 3 washes (every other day, so about a week) before acclimation. My hair looks freaking awesome. It is correct that you do not need conditioner. After 2 washes, I could easily finger comb my long tresses without much issue and my hair is half way down my back (30-40inches, natural wave with some curl). It has a nice shine amd healthy look. The regular shampoo sizes are essentially the 6 small samples molded together if you decide to purchase more in the future. Great purchase!

Hair: thin, fine and naturally produces a lot of oil. Growing out from a pixie My team: These shampoos, Leggitt conditioner bar, satin bonnet for sleep, and corn starch baby powder in place of dry shampoo. Ok this is my first time with a bar shampoo that I used more than 3 washes. I have 3.75 bars left and they each last me just shy of a month. My hair really does respond to the different bars, so I’m really glad I bought this pack instead of just picking one. I totally intend to use these as gifts (when my family is ready bar shampoo is a mental adjustment) My husband is extremely sensitive to smells. He does not mind the bars themselves, and now he sometimes comes and deeply inhales my hair for emotional grounding. Highly recommend for sensory sensitive people. My care cycle: wash with shampoo, twice if I still feel oil after the first wash. It took me a while to come around but I’ve decided that they are right: scrub the bar in your hands and then apply to hair. I only need to condition every 2 weeks or so. I usually shower at night, and then brush my hair (I know I can’t keep that up as it gets longer). When I wake up she is clean, shiny (but not as shiny as when I conditioned with placenta in a bottle every day) and a little sassy. If I shower every night (judgment eyes elsewhere please) I can keep track of how the oil is building up. Usually on day 2 or 3 I will want to do my dry shampoo in the morning and wash that night. Longer than than in we are in never-take-off-this-hat. I store the bar in the shower on a bar soap holder that lets it dry out of the range of the actual shower head/normal drip trails.

I have not used these yet but they are quite small--which i like. These are meant to clean you scalp and the roots of your hair. I may get 2 or 3 washings per bar. The small size ensures that for me, personally. Not sure how big the full size bars are but i hope they are not too big.

Ok so to premise, I have long hair that's very fine but there is a ton of it. It's also a bit naturally wavy and very, very dry. So I've been dealing with frizz, breakage, and annoying curly baby hairs all my life. These bars are really great for dry hair as they do not strip your hair of oils, and they really do reduce frizz and breakage. However, if you use them incorrectly you will get a waxy buildup. Less is more, so don't use too much. I do a few swipes across the top of my head and then massage in with my hands and rinse. You also need to make sure you rinse it out very well and there really is no need to use conditioner. I spray a bit of leave in conditioner in my ends after showering to help comb through my hair but I don't use conditioner in the shower. I also alternate this shampoo with a purple shampoo and conditioner since I have blonde highlights. I typically wash my hair twice a week, mid week I will use this bar and on the weekend I will use the purple shampoo/conditioner. I also use a detox shampoo once a month or so to remove product buildup followed by an overnight hair mask. This bar will not get your hair quite as clean as traditional shampoo, so it's ideal for days when your hair needs a bit more of a refresh than dry shampoo but it doesn't need a full wash. It's great for when I air dry my hair since it makes my curls looks more hydrated and less frizzy. However, I definitely liked some of the samples better than others. My favorite is the original formula followed by the jojoba and peppermint. I did NOT like the coconut and argon oil, it left my hair very greasy even when I rinsed it out super well. I would only recommend that one if you have extremely dry hair. I haven't tried the moisturizing formula yet but I have a feeling that one will also be too much for my hair. The tea tree and hemp made my scalp itchy for some reason. Overall, I will likely purchase the full sized original formula and continue using it once a week since I do think it really helps keep my hair hydrated.
