Excellent Product
I needed a quality product to make professional presentations. I am not working so I needed something that I could purchase that would not break me but that would show my potential clients that I meant business. This product is it. I researched for months and read a little over 50 reviews and went with this projector. It exceeded my expectations. I even used it for a 3 day weekend seminar for over 500 people. She ran great and had a clear picture in a lighted hotel conference room. I am utterly satisfied thus far. I have been using it for 6 months now.

Works Well, Doesn't Travel Well!
This is a very good projector that does two things well 1. adjusts its angle, BY ITSELF, when it detects a change in position 2. connects/mirrors easily when both a PC or Mac are attached Having said that, it's a pain to carry on planes because it's so big, and ALWAYS causes the TSA guys to make me put it on the conveyor belt, outside the bag! I wish Epson would make a smaller sized projector that I can rave about to my seminar audiences! I bring my own equipment when I lecture, and BYOD practices are becoming MUCH more common in today's workplace reality. PLEASE make this lighter and more portable! Totally Exceeded my expectations
I had an old DLP projector that was showing signs of wear including the dreaded dead bulb. Bulbs for these things are pricey so I shopped for a projector as a fluke and came across this one. Moments after unpacking and firing it up I was just blown away. This projector is bright, sharp, the controls are terrific, it's light, the image is beautiful. And it's less than $250! Just the BULB for my old projector was well over $300 and I would have still be stuck with an 800 lumen projector. First of all, the controls. There are handy controls on top to skew the image so that it will accommodate not being directly in line with the screen. This is totally terrific. There is also a "door" to cover the lens so if you want to stop projecting mid-presentation you don't have to put a notebook or something hokey in front of the lens. There's a door. You can see all the inputs to this projector - it's great. I've used it for presentations with Apple's Keynote, for showing movies and more. It's a beautiful image. It doesn't seem to have the latency my old projector did and the resolution is crisp and sharp. I've also projected from my iPad, from a confuser and from my Apple TV and all work perfectly. My only gripe is that the carrying case that came with this projector feels really cheap but who cares? The whole projector was less than the price of a simple bulb, right? So what if the case is cheap? I almost feel like I saw this on the shelf with $1000 projectors but someone had mis-priced it and I snuck out of the store with an unexpected bargain, it's that good of a deal on a product that I'm totally thrilled by.

Excellent Presentation Tool
This projector has the power to display in a fully lit room- it exceeded my expectations. It has HDMI, so connecting it to my iPad with the Apple adapter worked perfectly for my presentations. I also love the auto correct keystone feature. This machine is also very simple to use. I used the other customer reviews to help me decide which model to purchase and found them very helpful and accurate.

Has a lot of features and projects nicely but...
the power plug loses it's contact with the machine with even the slightest movement. This could be a defect isolated to the one I got, so i do not know if this is the case for all of them. It is nice and compact and easy to use and if not for the power cord issue, I would have given it 4 stars.

Issue with heat and color
Tends to overheat, even the air coming out of the fan is too hot when getting closer. Colors not great.

Almost what I wanted
Got this today and am very impressed with the image clarity and brightness. I can't wait to look at a movie with it. However, playing a slideshow from a USB drive is a bit spotty. It does not play all JPEG files and I cannot figure out why yet. Otherwise, it starts up quickly, very easy to operate...does not even come with a real manual..just a quick startup guide.. I will be playing movies later but for now I have to get it to play all my jpeg files for a wedding slideshow. Will update my review. Update: 2/27/13 Exported images from Lightroom and was able to view all of them. My only peeve is that it does not allow you to play the photos randomly...only random effects so you have to put the photos in the order that you need it played. update 4/18/13 Looked at a movie and was very impressed by the clarity and color rendition on the screen. Going to really enjoy showing a movie outdoors. You do need an amp/receiver with HDMI or optical for audio hookup to external speakers. Should have included composite audio output as well for easy hookup to older amps.
