These are very healthy plants I used a metal raised bed and planted according to manufacturer instructions. I have grown asparagus before so next year I will be able to harvest all its produces . The product looked good, I followed good directions and planted right away.....however, had too many days of rain falland filled in the trenches before the asparagus was up. Now just hoping for the best

I was VERY skeptical about ordering plants on Amazon but they arrived on time and all seemed healthy. It's been a couple of weeks and almost every crown has a stalk growing so I have no complaints so far!

When I received the asparagus crowns they were covered with mold and the ends of the roots were rotten. Two of the twelve crowns showed sign of life but they definitely weren't healthy. Unfortunately this item isn't returnable so BUYER BEWARE!

Bought this asparagus roots, they arrived after 3 days, nice size and well alive. I planted them the day after soaking in water for one night and in two weeks the most part where already sprouting, I hope the rest will follow soon. I will wait until next year to see if they will survive and how they will develop and eventually I will update this post

I received 11 roots, not 12 as promised. There was a twelfth one which was so small it was barely anything at all. The best roots were good quality. Beware buying from Hand Picked Nursery through a third party--in which they don't put the care into what they sell. I've bought from that company direct, they are expensive (shipping cost is a killer), but the quality is there plus they send some extra plants.
