Rather Good Batmobile
I think this Batmobile is excellent – beautiful, accurate replica – remarkable considering its fairly small size. (More accurate than the Corgi model, though, of course, that has the extra gimmicks which this doesn't.) Smooth shiny black paint job and fairly sharp red coach lines. (Mind you, a small gripe – the 'red' lines are more orange... but I can live with that.) I reckon a kid playing with it would soon get it all scratched and damaged, but for a grownup (like me) who just wants to gaze at it and touch it occasionally, basking in nostalgia and admiration for that sweet '60s design, it's just great. I do like the die cast Batman figure. a rather good detailed paint job and very well modelled – small, but I think you can even tell its actor Adam West under the cowl! (Another very minor gripe – his base layer of the costume is painted too light a colour; it should be a darker grey. Y'know.) However, I love it!
