Fun Snacks and Meals
This is one of those goofy things that I've wanted for a long time. Why did I wait! I love this little gadget!By pressing it on the bread, you seal in whatever ingredients you want. The one in the photograph is peanut butter and jelly but I've also made them with cheese inside. Brush with butter and bake until melty. Just make sure you have the cheese in the middle and not near the edges.I don't often use an entire loaf of bread, so I've been making little pouches and freezing them. In that way it's turned out to be quite the money saver.

Works perfectly
Brought this to make and freeze ahead some uncrustables for work lunches. It's easy to use and works great. Great value for the price.

It’ll do the job for the most part
Only complain I have is you have to flip the sandwich back and forth to get them even on both sides. It doesn’t cut the crust off so you have to manually cut or pull it off. I’ve used better, but it’ll do the job for the most part.

Great kitchen tool of you have kids!
I just opened and used for the first time. Photo #1 I prepared a peanut butter and jelly sandwich the way I would traditionally, peanut butter on one side jelly on the other. Ooops had a little breakage thru the bread. Photo #2 I changed my thinking a little bit, light peanut butter on both sides of bread and jelly in a "blob" in the center of one piece. Yay! Success, highly suggest this technique for a ppj! We like a fresh, soft, fluffy, white bread, you could possibly get a different result with a firmer bread :) mommy's uncrustables are currently chillin in the freezer and will put to the test tomorrow. Let's see if my kiddos 2 1/2 and 8 1/2 can tell the difference between my mine, and the overpriced grocery store version. Cant wait to try other fillings!

Disappointed. Leaves black residue on food.
This sandwich cutter did not worked the way I had hoped. It didn't cut the sandwiches the way it does in the pictures, in fact, the sandwiches look more like the pictures the seller shows to represent how terrible other company products are, but really it is their product too. But honestly, I could live with it because it got the job done even if it wasn't pretty. However, I used it once and since then it leaves black residue on the sandwiches and THAT I am not okay with. The harder I press down the worse the residue is, so then I really stand no chance at getting it to cut to the standard promised. If I could, I would return it.

Use fresh white bread
I've tried this tool a couple times now with various breads, most whole wheat or something similar, and none of them as fresh as the could have been. It works okay enough if you're going to eat the sandwich right away, but to freeze they'd make a mess. Usually with my slightly stale bread one of the pieces bursts during the pressing process.Another thing is that the disk isn't fantastic at cutting through the bread.I did find a video review here that mention these things:Use white breadFlatten bread firstTwist the circle piece to cut betterPress a couple times to sealI think using the freshest bread possible would be a good idea, too, as it is more elastic that crusty stale bread (I just didn't want my bread to go to waste!)I love the idea, but there might be a different tool out there that accomplishes this better. I'll play around further with this tool to see if something better happens.

Worked great… until it didn’t
TLDR: Perfect, except it broke quickly.Going to start with the cons first:- broke after a few uses - I think I made like twenty sandwiches before the flat piece gave way and I think the spring now doesn’t work like it is supposed to because of that. Now that we got that out of the way, here are the pros:- perfect size for my one year old- really did work amazing before it broke- good material, probably just a bad weld or something idk-easy to cleanTips and tricks:- roll your bread very thin. If you do not roll your bread this will not work- do not anything near where the seal will be, especially jelly. This will cause a faulty seal that will come apart within seconds after pressing, or a few minutes- before pressing, wet the edges with water, this helps create a better sealI’m not sure if I would buy again. I have considered buying another because having the sandwiches was so convenient for my toddler, but I am worried another will just break. I would have given 5 stars if it had not broken. If there was a larger (and square?) size I would consider buying it as my bread maker makes tall loaves and I can make two of these size sandwiches if I roll the middle slices right but for the other slices there is a lot of “waste”. I make bread crumbs and can make French toast from them but there’s only so much I can use!Overall, if I could guarantee or confidently say it would not break so fast, I would recommend this.
