Broan-NuTone FG701S Universal CleanCover Bathroom Exhaust Upgrade Grille Cover, White Bath Fan

Used this to replace a cover in an older bathroom fan light. The fan went out, so I replaced it with a new fan unit (just the motor and blades). Replaced the old ugly broken cover with this large universal cover. Wow, what an improvement!!Looks nice, easy to install. Does not affect functionality of fan. White color goes with any scheme.Breathes new life into an older style fan!Highly recommend thus item!

It bright white, huge and aesthetically nicer. I did not pay close attention to the dimensions as I knew it fit several configurations as per the included different size hanging hooks provided. It's got 2 size settings on the inside grill cover for the spring hooks. This grill cover is huge compared to the original one I was replacing which is your standard size for bathrooms. Looks like it can also be used as an HVAC grill in your home, depending on what size you need of course.

Easy to install great upgraded look. Why did it take so long to come up with this idea?

Gave this Item a 4, but, not perfect. Looks modern and new once it's in place but the attachments are not great. The springs are good, it's how the spring attaches to the plastic grill. During install I had a stubborn spring and while I was manipulating it into place it would come out at the grill attachment. Maybe then need some kind of safety clip to ensure the spring does not detach from the plastic grill.

I knew the dimensions of this thing going in, but it just looks ginormous upon installation. I feel like it’s onerous presence when I look up. I have a typical Broan bathroom fan that I replaced using the bathroom fan Upgrade kit QK60. I didn’t like the cover for that so I got this instead.This one definitely looks better, and because the holes are smaller, I actually think it might be a smidge quieter. I’m reading reviews that others have written and ppl are saving this cover is easier to wipe and clean. Wow, am I just out of the loop? I’ve never heard of anyone routinely wiping down their bathroom fan cover.The plain plastic white color doesn’t suit me. I really want to paint it so that it looks like it blends in better with the rest of the room. Not a bad value or bad product. The product comes with different sized springs. There are also 2 different sets of clips on the inside for 2 different sized holes. I used the smaller one and it was ok.Was it a pain trying to get the clips in? Yes, but it just took some perseverance and creativity. It’s definitely doable, but I can see how some would struggle. It’s really not that big a deal.

These are great replacements and inexpensive upgrades that are easy to install! Fits great

I replaced a bathroom fan that had seen better days. The new fan cover had about 1/4” gap that did not cover the entire hole. Even though this cover did not list the brand I installed, it was universal and worked without issues. Had it installed in a few minutes and looks much better. Will be replacing the rest of the fan vent covers now.

So easy to replace! Good value for the money, and years later it continues to operate quietly, and functions as expected.
