Mattel Harry Potter Collectible Severus Snape Doll (~12-inch) Wearing Black Coat Jacket and Wizard Robes, with Wand, Gift for 6 Year Olds and Up

This was a bit expensive, but worth the price for the size and quality. I can't decide if I'm going to take it out of the box yet, so I don't know how physically durable it is. I'm just beginning a project of creating a display collection of sorts, and this was one of my first buys. It definitely seems like a display item more than a play item, but an older child might enjoy it. I'm a huge HP fan, so I might buy more characters to match it, but it also stands alone just fine as well.

The figure (HARRY POTTER Severus Snape 12 Inch Collector's Doll) is well-made, with a lot of attention to detail. It didn’t arrive mint -in -box due to the mailing method, but it’s otherwise great to have. I’ll probably buy more figures from the same collection.

My daughter loved it! Perfect gift for a Snape fan

I saw they were making other characters in this line a while ago, and my first thought was "is there a Professor Snape doll?" Now there is! I got him today, and he's fantastic! I'm quite pleased with him - he looks very true to character, and he's high quality, especially for the price. My only complaint is that the packaging came in rough shape - thankfully he was alright, but the idea of saving packaging isn't really going to pan out. That said, I never intended to keep him in the box to begin with. He's going to stay by my desk, to help me with a major project I'm working on, and answering my emails. If you have any love for Severus Snape at all, I highly recommend this figure - he's fantastic.

He's perfect, box perfect, came extremely quickly even thru customs.

I've got every figure in this toy line that came before this, and I've gotta say they really messed up here. The sculpt isn't bad, exactly, but it certainly does NOT look like the promotional pictures or the pictures on this page. It's just bizarre....It's like "uncanny valley" Alan Rickman....And, unlike the pictures, this Snape is wearing enough makeup to make RuPaul blush. I guess this will get to be my first try at repainting a figure because this is just disappointing.

This doll was added to my daughter's HP Mattel collection. It was packaged like the other dolls and looks great.
