Works...but...
I installed these lights on the boat trailer guide on a light weight Gheenoe trailer (see photo). It would have been easier if there was a wiring diagram showing which lights were intended for each function. There is a white, red, and black wire. No tags, no written instructions in the box. White is common/ground/negative. After some trial and error, mostly error, the red should go to the turn signal. That will be yellow/left and green/right. The black wire goes to the running lights. That may be standard somewhere, but not in my neighborhood. When the running lights are on and the turn signal is blinking, There's only a little difference in brilliance. It will probably show up more in dark. With the running lights off, the turn signal actually blinks the left or right brake light, so it's very obvious. Maybe this will save someone some headaches. These lights mount through a hole that's a bit over 1/2" diameter, maybe 1.5 cm. I drilled a 1/2" hole and reamed it out a bit then sealed with marine sealant...probably overkill

Installed on a boat trailer really easily with some 3/16 rivets, and heat-shrinking connectors & liquid electrical tape. The first day I launched the boat, the light ended up taking on water. It popped two fuses in my truck and never worked again. Revisit your design; it's not waterproof. The photo shows the water level when the light is tipped ~ 30 degrees. The water is somehow sealed within the reflector - I can't get it out.

Easy to install and works great - bright and quite obvious; replaced an older broken unit at the top of my truck's canopy.Deducted a star because the absurdly large protrusion on the back where the wires come out. It's 5/8" in diameter and close to 1/2" tall - I don't see any reason for it to exist at all, and in fact it interfered with my installation. I cut the plastic cylinder off of the back and carefully removed it from the wires that come through it (they are embedded in relatively hard silicone - don't them off!) so that the wires could be fed through a much smaller hole; the entire unit I attached with a pop riveter.

Not waterproof as advertised
Seems to be a good quality center bar. I've seen some comment about wiring color...standard trailer wiring uses white as ground, so that shouldn't be a surprise. Black and red are actually the odd colors, trailer running lights are typically brown, I guess black is close. Anyway, no issues wiring it up. I did not use the red brake light function, doesn't seem necessary but doesn't hurt to have either I guess. My only complain about this light is that it is marketed as waterproof/submersible. I put this on a boat trailer and it got water inside the lense on the first outing, which by itself is not a big deal as the LEDs still work fine. The problem is that the water did not drain out. I had to drill a couple of small holes in the bottom corners of the lense in order to allow the water to drain. Not a big deal but a light that's designed to be submerged should not have this problem.**update 9/11/18 - Water has apparently gotten into the circuit board or something. Of the 11 LEDs in the bar, only 3 are still working. Dropping to 1 star since this is supposed to be waterproof but clearly wasn't done well enough.

Don't buy if you need quality
I find it hard to believe that these lights are dot approved. I took a gamble and it didn't pay off. The difference in running lights and turn/brake like is hard to see. I was thinking about getting a resistor to out on the running light wire so the contrast would be better. I am no longer going to do that because after looking at them in full dark, they just aren't near bright enough. I would say leave the running light brightness alone and increase the the full bright power. As is, I will buy different lights instead of messing around with these anymore.

Not suitable for marker/brake/turn due to poor differences in brightness
If you intend to use this as a low/high marker/brake lamp, look elsewhere. There is almost no difference between tail lamp and brake/turn brightness levels. I bought two and they are exactly the same. Vehicles following behind will not be able to tell if you’re braking.

CAUTION
They are bright, easy to install and work great. BUT.... They require a great deal of power to operate as running lights and have blown several fuses and relays over time. I will be disconnecting them as running lights and will be using them solely as break lights. They work wonderfully as break lights, especially if you get caught in a rain storm or fog people will surely be able to see your break lights. Oh, if you have them as the sole running lights, they should be fine with the supplied power, it's only when you have additional side markers that they become a problem.

Will not survive long being used outdoors on a trailer
EXTEMELY low quality … two of these lights failed within a year of purchase!!! One of the pair of lights flooded with water. Then the LED strip curled inside the light lens and eventually failed. The LED strip in the other light also curled inside the light lens and failed. I totally agree with another review that I find it hard to understand how these lights are DOT approved. They will look great when first installed but will not survive long in the outdoor elements!

AWESOME!!
Works great for my application, used it as a third center brake light on a custom trunk lid. Also has a lower light output wire so it could be used as a park light as well. Three wires in total high, lo, and ground.

Wish it was a flat back for ease of installing...
Wish the back was flat so to mount against flat against the trailer picture does show there is a protuding plastic for the wires.....most lights of this type are flat back....oh well i found another use for it anyway....

Fonctionne bien
J'ai installé ces feux derrière me remorque. J'aime bien ce format, ça m'a permis d'enlever les anciennes lumières qui dépassaient de chaques côtés et étaient accrochantes.
