Super satisfied so far
I’ve had this laptop for a few months and it’s been holding up great. I needed a new laptop to replace my previous Asus running windows 8 and 4gb of ram. This is a massive upgrade. I use this for work, gaming, music production, browsing, youtube you name it.The FX505DT handles everything flawlessly. I don’t play big games like cod , fortnite, battlefield so i wouldn’t know how it runs. I’d confidently say this guy could handle those games pretty effortlessly with the right settings. I play Valheim and minecraft and i can run it pretty darn easy lol. There’s 3 modes you can toggle from silent/performance/ and turbo ( which makes the fans pretty loud). I’ve been content on performance mode and it handles everything fine and is quiet unless running games. The rgb lighting is very nice on the keys and you can download an app from the store to change the colors , make them solid or whatnot. I love the laptop so far and it’s been great. The screen quality is also amazing. The trac pad is so so , it gets the job done but definitely doesn’t feel like a mac lol. As stated i’ve only had this laptop for a few months but i plan to have it last many years such as my previous laptop. So far satisfied and i would definitely recommend it as a work/music/gaming all around laptop.UPDATE: 2 months Later - Still perfect and super satisfied. Just upgraded the RAM to 16gb today and added a 500gb ssd . Even with 8gb i was running insurgency sandstorm great. I’ve encountered no problems so far. Super smooth.UPDATE: 7 Months After Purchase: Still very happy with my purchase... This laptop fit my budget and after my upgrades it runs even better. I love it so much.

Decent low to mid gaming laptop
This laptop was an amazing gift for my girl. She's used it non stop for gaming and for her work from home job. It may not be extremely powerful or handle newer game titles, but it gets the job done and a little more.

Excellent performance for the money
The media could not be loaded. ASUS is VERY well known as the current master of personal computing devices. They use fantastic parts and outsource excellent manufacturers to provide the builds for their products. Keep that on the down low though, if they get as big as Dell they'll start hurting in quality like Dell too. ASUS is a rock solid, fast, well built brand and this laptop is no exception. We play games like Valheim and FO4 at 50FPS with no issues whatsoever. The only con is the OS it comes with... W10 Home is crap so be ready to install Pro. We also upgraded memory to 16GB Ballistix and added a second 4TB SSD for added space. If you got the $800, get one.

Power, Speed and quality video
I've own several laptops and built numerous desktop systems. This ASUS TUF Gaming is the finest most powerful system I've had except my current tower pc. I immediately put in 32gb RAM and a 1tb SSD added for second drive. The ASUS webpage even has a pdf file on how to immediately upgrade the unit and state 32gb is preferred as well as Win10 Pro. I had to hunt for a laptop configured as this one. I just had to get to replace my old laptop that crapped out.The video display is crystal clear and rich in colors.

Amazing
Been using this for years now and have no complaints as far as the function. Battery life is as advertised, keys are easy touch. As long as you use the right virus protection the speed of applications is great.

Really awesome for the price
I bought this for work, school and Wow. So far it runs WOW at the highest graphics level just fine. The fans do some on regularly when gaming but not for zoom or anything else. It really is a great deal. I haven’t upgraded ram or ssd or anything. Just running it as it came. I think I will probably update eventually. I’ve always owned MacBooks and I think I’m a pc convert now, at least for gaming. The computer also came in two days!

Ripoff ripoff ripoff
Computer stopped working after 3 months. Of course, it was just beyond the send back period to the seller. Sent it back to Asus and they are claiming liquid damage and evidence that it was mishandled. Computer is barely 3 months old and never left it’s place, nor anything spilled in it. Asus is either lying about the damage or they have the wrong computer that I returned. They also said it would be $700 to repair. Either way, the whole mess deserves 0 stars. Do not buy.

Might need a took over
i'm not going to waste your time. produt is great, runs smooth, plays great, and can do anything you need it to thanks to what it's got under the hood. Pro's, it has Actual Venting of air unlike some PC's, will be worth the under 1k price, Can run anything from shapez.io to mortal shell and destiny 2 smoothly. Con's, it can be Loud, Several people report the fans can get loud after awhile, don't have multiple USB items plugged in until After you boot it up, and this thing's asus stuff can cause problems. overall a 4 out of 5, run SFC /scannow and other computer IT stuff like tron before you get too deep into it.
