Great tool for building rc car kits
Good for snipping the plastic parts off of the attachments that hold all the parts together when building Tamiya RC car kits. High-quality materials, durable, good grip, works great, cheap, and easy to use (like scissors). I highly recommend this product

A Game Changer for My Plastic Models!
Okay, if you're into plastic modeling and still using basic clippers, you have to try these Tamiya side cutters. I'm not exaggerating when I say they're a total game changer. Before these, I was constantly battling those annoying stress marks and white discolouration on my parts when removing them from the sprue. It meant extra sanding and touch-ups, which really added time and frustration. The first time I used these, I was genuinely impressed. They cut through the plastic so cleanly and effortlessly, leaving no stress marks whatsoever. The blades are incredibly sharp and perfectly aligned, making every snip feel precise and smooth. Seriously, upgrading from my old common clippers (the kind you grab at Hobby Lobby) to these Tamiya ones was like night and day. My parts come off looking pristine, and it's made the whole building process so much more enjoyable. If you're looking to step up your modeling game, these clippers are absolutely worth the investment.

Awesome sprue snips
These work great for snipping out parts from its sprue, and that’s what they are made for. I would not use them to cut the sprue tree itself, you’ll ruin them. These are flat side cutters that are a perfect size for getting in close to the part and snipping its the connection to the sprue. If you use them for other things, like cutting wire, and they get dull or break, that’s on you. Sometimes I want to cut the sprue itself into sections for spraying different colors and/or primer. I use a heavier duty pair of cutters for that. And for the lighting work I use small wire cutters. Use tools for what they are made for, the right tool for the right job and your work will go smoothly.

Small but very nice quality.
These were a bit spendy but pretty nice to use once you get used to the small size. They are very sharp and the cutting edges come together nicely. I expected the tip of the cutter to be pointed but it's squared off. I'd like them to be a bit bigger but once you get used to the small size they work very nicely and cut sprue very cleanly. Recommended.

Super sharp, thin cuts
I build scale models and table top wargaming figures, this was an upgrade purchase from my generic side cutters and I love them. Very sharp and thin, so it cuts parts away from sprues without bending or stressing the plastic. Totally worth the cost.

Comfortable and Sharp
Very sharp, worked perfectly. Perfect tension on the spring made using it for a long time fairly comfortable.
