Super easy to install and use!
Very easy to install. Super user friendly. Has a nice quality video. The only thing that took maybe 10 minutes to figure it out was sending the invitation to my wife so she can have access to the doorbell app, not just me. Oh, and you if you leave on a main street that has high traffic, you are not ready for the notifications. What I mean by that is that the doorbell sense people really fast and if the it's set up for that, you'll get a notification for every person that passes by your house. I had to set the sensor to the lowest level, and even with that it still so good at detecting people. Also, there's no need to put the SD card into the Chime, just place it into the doorbell and you have the recordings available on your phone through the app. But if you want to you can put one into the Chime, but that means you'll have to buy 2 SD cards. But everyone is different. Anyway, this is one good doorbell and the price range is acceptable compared to others. Regarding the battery, I only lost 1% so far and it has been on for 5 days. So is going to be a while till the battery runs out of juice. And to avoid any headaches, i bought a second battery as a backup when i need to charge the first one. But with the way things are going I don't think is going to happen soon. Also, Night vision, crisp quality, but depends what lighting you have in your area, still it performs very well. Overall, I am glad that I bought this doorbell, now I don't have to worry that I will not hear when someone knocks atthe door.

Great doorbell with optional fees
A very nice doorbell packed full of features. We're using it via battery in optimal surveillance mode and it's yet to drop from 100% battery (had it for a few weeks now). We did have an issue with some missed events, but increasing the sensitivity of the doorbell and turning on all the AI modes seems to resolve it for us. The sound quality is average and the video quality is good. We also have a homebase 3 which we use as a chime and for video storage and this doorbell connected to it right out of the box making setup a breeze. App notifications and accessing the live feed have a slight delay, maybe 1 or 2 seconds, but I understand this is lower if you hardwire the doorbell. The app has a nice interface and is easy to use although sometimes it does freak out and send you loads of notifications (this has only happened once for us). Overall very good doorbell and good value, with no fees (unless you want cloud storage), would be nice if the doorbell events supported multiple events in a single clip (like ring) but maybe future versions will support this.

Great video doorbell
Great video doorbell at a great price with no subscription too, it also has a really good 2k picture clarity, however trying to sync up the chime is a nightmare of which I still haven't managed to get it sync'd up, but in the grand scheme of things it's not that deep as I/we get the notification that someone is at our door without it, picture clarity is the 'dogs bollocks', we have the C31 model which we can use the batteries or it can be hardwired, atm we have it on battery as I've got an extra battery and can just simply swap out the low battery for a new fully charged one without losing any time with the doorbell being out of its mount, so I'm curious about battery life and will let you know if it's any good only time will tell, I would recommend this purchase due to its budget price tag and great features👍🏻

Poor Image Quality, Poor Software, Just Poor All Round
I regret switching to the Eufy C31. The picture quality is poor—my old Ring Pro 2 (which is years older) is far better. The viewing angle is limited, unlike the Ring’s coverage. What’s worse, when someone rings the doorbell, it comes through as a phone call on my iPhone—frustrating! My Ring would just give a quick notification or thumbnail on my Apple Watch. Plus, it’s slow: from pressing the doorbell to actually seeing the video can take about 30 seconds, by which time the person is gone. My Ring was instant—open it, and you can immediately see and speak to the person. The Eufy app doesn’t integrate with Alexa either, so it won’t even show on my Echo Show. In the end, I’ve reinstalled my Ring and will pay the subscription. At least it works. Not recommended.

Excellent product and very pleased with it.
Very very pleased with this product. My son recommended it to me and I’m pleased I took his advice. Easy to set up and brilliant picture quality and easy to remove and charge the battery. I purchased a second battery that is charged and ready so that I didn’t have to wait for it to charge.

Motion Detection is not good. Honest review from a person that really wanted this doorbell to work!
CONS: Personally I am unhappy with motion and mostly Human detection. And I am not the only one as well, so it doesent seem like only my doorbell is somehow faulty. Human detection regardless of how much playing with activity zones or sensitivity I have done is just hit and miss. Mostly miss and negative experience. I was reassured by the Customer service that they are working on Firmware updates all the time and this will improve with time. 1. Firstly it does not detect people wearing balaclavas. Tried and tested. Danced in front of the doorbell while wearing balaclava and did not register me, once I removed the balaclava received notification straight to my phone. 2. Secondly the motion and Human detection insists that car wheels are humans, sometimes 4 or more times per night. If I use the exclusion zone it helps but there is only one exclusion zone I can set up which is not enough for all parked cars and their wheels. So out of nowhere at night I get notified that some car wheel is human. Also registers lamp post sometimes few activations per night. Neither the car wheel nor the lamppost are humans! Sadly it is a hit and miss. Sometimes people pass by and aint detected but sometimes car wheels pass as humans. Good thing is that I can donate my videos to EUFY, which I do. So that I can help anyway I can to fix the poor AI. I send them every now and then activations that are supposed to be humans but are car wheels or trees or street lamps. 3. Doesent seem to be 2k. Maybe 1080p at the most. But decent for a doorbell. My experience could be affected by bandwidth. It has setting that let you choose what is more important to you - to record in better quality but stream in lower or record in lower but live view to be in better quality. For me the recording is a priority as this doorbell acts as CCTV for me. PROS 1. Very good Price and no monthly fees. 2. Prompt notifications. Very fast! Rings immediately after doorbell is being pressed. Really really fast. Notifications come with a screenshot thumbnail (preview). That way I know to ignore it or not. If thumbnail is a human face then I open the notification, if it is car tyre or street lamp I ignore it. 3. Simple and intuitive to use app. 4. Chime that arrived with it has long range few melodies and different volume settings. Easy to pair too. BTW if you are hoping to use the UK plug adaptor - you might be out of luck. The UK plug adaptor seems not to fit well on the chime which leads to chime not being powered up. Chime in the box comes with EU and UK adaptor that slides in the chime unit. UK one doesent make good contact with the unit and hence it isnt powered when plugged in the wall. That was my case at least. But you can use EU part then put it in EU->UK adaptor and will work. Was told that they are aware and rectifying the issue. 5. Customer service are always answering. 6. EUFY has entire Ecosystem of CCTV and security products. Therefore if you are looking to get one app for all your needs it is an option. Intruder alarm with keypad and various style detectors combined with CCTV products. 7. When you introduce someone you get £40 gift card and the person gets £40 off his purchase as long as it is over £200. If you introduce him on 22nd each month then the gift card is apparently £80.

Install tough for existing wiring but worth it. Great for people w/both Alexa&Nest or Smartthings/HA
Physical installation: Despite this being recommended for people with existing door bell wiring, a plug in adapter comes in the box and they only provide instructions on how to wire in a wall plug and drill through your wall. Not use existing wiring as suggested. Eufy support recommend a 24VAC 30VA output transformer (which cost £35 on Amazon and have reviews flagging how dangerous they are) which are extremely uncommon in uk and Ireland. However i managed to get enough power from the 24VAC 1A trafo I had (search "garo 24v bell transformer" on screwfix, about a tenner). These are very similar to the transformer supplied by Ring Pro in the box in Europe. However most old houses will not have these so you will likely need to buy one separately. I had to bypass my existing chime which was fine but its up and running now no problems (except some errors downloading firmware upgrades). I contacted support but they were really not much help for installation. App setup: Once physically installed, app was super easy to setup. It prompted me to update firmware which wouldn't work for me, but worked fine after a day. Once setup you can choose activity zones and "ignore zones" for motion detection. Great for people near roads. You can also adjust motion sensitivity to only pick up what it detects at human movement with is great. I only wish they had two motion sensitivity settings 1) to trigger recording (should be more sensitive) and 2) to trigger notifications (should be less sensitive and only when a human is detected). Otherwise you have the option get notifications all the time for any movement or else less notifications but less recordings (means you miss a lot). Night vision is not an option for me as my setup has to be beside a large white wall which blows out the infrared (see 1st pic). However I have enough ambient light to not use it (last pic). The supplied 15° wedge helps a little, but would love it there was a 45° corner cit available like there is for the ring, this would solve my night vision problem. They do exist but only from 3rd party 3d printers in America which is disappointing. App notifications: There is zero lag in notifications or physical chime, and I mean it. I was very impressed. I have gigabit broadband and it's about 5 metres from the router (through an external wall) but connection is instant. And theres only about 0.5s lag in conversation. When it detects motion you get a thumbnail of the person's face very quickly and the same thing for a door press. Storage: Storage costs nothing since it's local which is great. You can easily download the videos to your phone (one click) and then have Google photos backup the folder automatically which frees phone storage and retains everything in cloud. Downside is clearly this can be ripped off wall and videos which haven't been downloaded to phone disappear once power is off. Smart home integration: I have it connected via my Google Nest Hub and my Echo Show. I can ask either to show me the doorbell and see it no problem. Haven't yet tried but I don't think they automatically display the feed when the bell goes, only when you ask. You can also use Alexa routines to do things on door press (e.g. doorbell pressed, turn on outside lights). You cannot trigger anything on motion however. For smartthings I have created a virtual device for when they doorbell is pressed which turns on via Alexa routine and off after 5 minutes. That was I can run automations based on front door activity with context of time of day etc. I'm hoping to figure a way to display the feed on my Nvidia shield depending on that button press, but I will come back if I can. I should say too it does use echo devices as a chime as well which is handy for multiple floors of house (though provided chime is plenty loud IMHO). Summary: Great option for people who have both Nest and Alexa ecosystems and want to be able to use both. If you are committed to Nest or Alexa/Ring/Fire you might be better served in either ecosystem. However if you want no monthly costs and an always on doorbell this is for you. Eufy if you're reading, please make available the corner kit options and improve you EU installation instructions. If you think people need transformers, you should supply them like Ring Pro! And please provide two different motion sensitivity settings; one for recording and one for notifying!

Good
Great, video is clear and uses barely any storage on the SD card; 2 years of footage before a 32gb sd card starts to replace old videos! Never a problem with these eufy camera however cannot get it to have press notifications on my alexa devices, not sure why.

Great value when you consider no subscription
We purchased this doorbell specifically because it didn’t need to be wired to previous doorbell and because there were no subscription fees. It took a little while to get it working properly to record but that was due to a faulty SD card and to no fault of the camera itself. I love that you can see the events and that you don’t have to pay a monthly fee to do so. Picture quality is great and the app is quite user friendly. The only thing that could improve on our end is the motion detection being quicker. We have ours aimed down our stairs and the motion detection set to high but if a delivery driver is super quick to drop off a package, the camera misses the event. This may be solve-able if we were to move the camera to another location but we have it covering the hole in our house from our old doorbell so we prefer not to move it. Otherwise, it’s a great camera. Battery life doesn’t last quite as long as we had hoped but it’s chargeable and super easy to do so has caused us no issues.

Beeindruckend
