How do I get rid of the lavender stench?

How does this work in the freezer? He doesn't get soggy and wet?

Nope- he doesn't get soggy. The all natural grains inside the body get cold in the freezer and act as a cool pack to soothe, fevers, sunburns, body aches and cool you off on a summer day!

Is there any way to tame the lavender smell a little bit? It's so potent that it burns my eyes a little if I hold the plushie too close to my face.
