can this be applied over nail polish?

It won't do anything for your nails if you apply it over polish. You need bare nails for it to sink in and do its job. You COULD apply it over nail polish but it would just be an oily layer and a waste of the product.

how do you get the pen to work?

It’s hard to tell when you’ve done it right, but I just kept twisting and twisting until tiny drops eventually cane out onto the bristles. It’s very controlled some how and must have an inner seal that breaks if you turn it hard enough.

how long does a pen last?

Of course, this depends in use. IMO, they last a long time.

Can I use this along with other nail strengthening products?

I don't think you need to' they work differently. This product is like an oil and other nail hardeners are more like a polish. I had powder gell nails on for a long time. Once salons closed down, I had to bite the bullet. I took off the gel and my nails were very week underneath. I use Cel all over my nails daily and it seems to stop the peeling and makes them stronger. I apply Cel, let sit a minute or two and then rub it in to each nail and cuticle. I don't think you can do this if you have another hardener coating the nail. But you can still use it on the cuticle. My nails are really looking nice at this point . . . not sure I will go back to dip manicures at all. Hope this is helpful.

Pen not properly filled

I like the product, after a week, I can see some improvement in my nails and I hope this continues. HOWEVER, you have to buy a duo and it costs £40.00 which is very steep in my opinion. Add to this that neither pen was filled with the oil properly and one was full of air with not much oil, so I feel ripped off.

never to buy this product again

shocking. no information saying how to take or what tools you need to open the container. very dangerousitem to open. first one I finally opened with pliers only to find the oil spilled all over myself and my trayvery very disappointed. will not buy this again. £40? not worth it.

Waste of money!

Complete waste of money. I followed the instructions and used it twice a day and it made no difference; certainly no difference to cheap products I have used previously. A complete rip off!
