No preservative, just honey

I have bought over 20 bottles over last few years. While most of the times it is pure honey, some batches have jaggery taste, which is really evident when you have tasted it side by side with an older good batch. This is regardless of where you buy it amazon or flipkart. Only thing you can do is buy kasmir honey instead of sunderbans as i havn't seen any of them with jaggery taste. Of course sundanbans are cheaper but you have i higher chance of getting an adultrated batch with them. The good batches are indeed good and deserve a full five star rating. it's just that there is no way of knowing what you are about to get which is sad.

Saffola honey is one of the few Indian brands which had passed stringent purity test in UK where the other were found to be adulterated hence I started using this brand. It's packed in a plastic bottle so it's easy to use and doesn't cause any leakage and no risk of glass bottle falling and breaking. The taste seems to be natural, sweet. Health wise honey within limits is good, so I make sure I don't use more than 10gms per day. Overall, I can say it's value for money.

It looks much darker in person, which is good. The honey is a bit too runny than I'd like, but still suitable. The taste is good, and it is genuine honey, not sugar syrup.I bought it for Rs. 247. Zandu honey was Rs. 264, but it came in a glass jar, whereas this is in a plastic jar.Should transfer honey to a different jar as soon as possible to prevent microplastics seeping into it.I ordered 2 jars, one of which had a broken seal. Amazon replaced it.I will be ordering 2 more jars soon.
