Fast Things Come In Small Packages
I guess a good qualifier would be "fast as it needs to be". The car is pretty small and if it went very much faster, it would be really difficult to drive effectively.Over all, this small EpochAir Remote Control Car is fast. It's small, but it moves like a much bigger car. It runs best over hard surfaces but you can drive it off road over a lot of surfaces. The cars high(ish) center allows the car to get over a lot of rough or uneven terrain. At high speeds on off road surfaces it is easy to roll the car.The remote control is intuitive and has a pretty decent range. We managed to run a pretty wild outdoor track and it performed well. Any child who has played any sort of video game console will take to this controller with ease.Battery life is 'good'. We charged up the battery as we looked over the car and check out the supplied information. Since the car is small, we ran it round the kitchen and living room for about 10 minutes to get a feel for how the controls worked and then we headed outside for another 30 minutes or so. While not exactly a monster car, it covered a lot of uneven territory in quick order and we headed back to charge up the battery.Battery charge wait time is about what you might expect, about 1.5-2 hours. Charging fast would IMO cause the battery to heat up and heat is the #1 enemy of a battery. I haven't timed it yet, but each new charge seems to last a bit longer than it did the first time. Full charge run time seems to be about 45-50 minutes at fast speeds. The Offroad Hobby Rc Racing Car is pretty durable. As soon as we got outdoors it became apparent that this car would roll over. We managed to do that more than a few times and the car is perfectly intact. The soft rubber tires really hold on flat surfaces and you can fishtail (which is where we rolled often as we learned how to slide through the corners) and kick up some dirt on loosely packed soil. Overall the car did very well outdoors. This Offroad Hobby Rc Racing Car is a lot of fun for the price. This is the perfect place to start a young child with an RC car. Even kids with moderate skills will find a challenge racing this car. We got this for our 10yo grandson and he absolutely loves it.

Fun little cars. The kids like them.
These were fun little cars. The kids enjoyed them. We had some of the LED lights go out first day, but they were the bumper level lights and ran into a number of things. But one went out entirely and the other flickers now. Still runs ok, but slightly disappointing because it stands out. They don't turn particularly sharp (but my opinion is tainted by hobby grade RC cars), but the kids don't know and they enjoy driving them around and learning how to drive them which is what I got them for. They go plenty fast for indoors and they have enough power to drive on very thin grass, or possibly well packed gravel. If you have deeper grass you aren't going to get very far at all. Well packed dirt/sand might be ok as well. I only take off a star because of the LED lights going out first day. I'll update if something else goes wrong soon.

Fun and affordable
Bought 2 of these for Christmas. Set up a road course on driveway and my son and I raced for over 30 minutes straight out of the box. Battery life is unbelievably long and you get 2 batteries. Charge time is average..a few hours. Run best on smooth surfaces like driveways, sand, packed dirt etc. turn ratio is pretty wide and cars flip over pretty easily due to their light weight design. But, usually land back on wheels. Pretty durable. Dropped one a couple times and crashed quit a bit. No issues yet. Lights are fun at night but not visible during the day. Remote control is surprisingly reactive. You can control your speed and steering to maneuver around tighter turns and obstacles making this car a lot of fun! Overall a fun affordable RC car.

The little RC vehicle that could!
Two separate single battery design, instead of dual battery design. Play Time (is) too short.Due to lack of dual battery pack, which costs extra money if you buy aftermarket. Turn radius isn't great either. Otherwise it's a good looking RC vehicle with cool graphics and decent lighting!

Great value for the money, but this is a toy.
I bought two cars from two different sellers at the same time, from the pictures they looked very similar with some different colorations and it turns out they are identical mechanically just packaged differently for different resellers. This one I bought with a coupon and a flash sale, the other one I bought at regular price and it was a couple dollars less. So if it’s pretty obvious they’re the same from different sellers go with the least expensive option. That said, these are great cars, I got one for my boy and of course I had to have one too so he had someone to play with, ha ha Ha. First of all no these are for a hard smooth surfaces only, absolutely no offloading capability. These will not go in the grass at all, we have some freshly laid sod that is it short as it will ever be in the cars simply will not move on it. On the driveway however they go great and have super range, well over 70 or 80 feet. They’re just fast enough and what I mean by that is if they were any faster they be too hard to control. Runtime is excellent, the battery certainly outlast dad‘s ability to focus although the six year old can get to the end of at least one battery. For the price point their absolute steal, looks like the last a while if you take care of them and if they don’t it’s a very small investment. Great to develop hand I coordination for a little ones and I can see us moving up to a car to her three times this price as the next step after he has learned on this one.
