I have been using this mascara for several years now on my top lashes. I have tried Beautycounter, Jones Road, Clinique, and many other mascara brands, and nothing beats this particular mascara. It seems to be a perfect combination of the brush and the formula, producing thick, separated lashes. No clumping, ever. And it smells absolutely amazing (the Dark Chocolate smells like chocolate, and the Blackberry smells like berries).

I wish I could give this mascara zero stars instead of one. I have been using the Maracuja oil mascara for at least 5 years and never experienced anything like I did with this most recent purchase. The consistency is completely different, it is watery, doesn’t stay on, nor does it dry at all. It smears all over my eyelids and under my eyes just putting it on, and what does make it to my lashes comes off throughout the day with just lightly rubbing my eyes. My toddler even poked me in the eye with his knuckle and it got covered in mascara. The other day, it literally streamed down my face while crying after finding out bad news about a childhood neighbor and it dripped all over my dress. I contacted the company and they gave me a store credit, but I sadly won’t be buying their mascara again.

it lengthens my lashes sooo much and it thickens them and leaves a very false lash effect for me it’s so pretty and the mascara is dark to so it makes my eyes pop oh and not to mention it smells SO GOOD like sweet ish fruit and the packaging is pretty and shiny

Giving it 4 stars because it can be improved.Pros- healthy & non toxic ingredients- highly pigmented- smudges overtime but easy to remove with fingertips- good for daily wear- washes off easyCons- easy to remove, so refrain from touching your eyes if it's on- smudges w/in 5 hours of wear (but easily removed with fingers)- must wear primer for longer wear- not waterproof- you may have to keep checking in the mirror if it smudgedProducts used: 100% Pure Peach Bisque foundation, Berry Naked eye shadow & Maracuja mascara; RMS dark brow pencil and primer; Ilia Yucca concealer.Disclaimer: product may have different effect based on your skintype.

As a concerned consumer who always seeks ingredients that are toxin-free, sustainable, organic, simple, without microplastics/phthalates/PFAS/BPA/bht or other hazards, I spend hours and hours reading ingredient lists and reviews (hint: always sort Amazon reviews by "most recent!"). I also have an extraordinary number of allergies, often to common ingredients like sodium benzoate. So when I first found this beautiful tube of natural pigments and beneficial oils, I was delighted! I tried other products by this brand as well, but (sigh) nothing has worked for me.Unfortunately this black tea mascara just doesn't do what I need it to do. My lashes are naturally thin and blonde at the tips, so honestly negligible. I don't wear foundation or eyebrow pencil or anything else elaborate, but I like tinted lip gloss and/or lipstick, smudged eyeliner, and mascara for my public face -- and I carry a Mineral Fusion talc-free powder compact on hot, humid days.I experimented with several "totally natural" brands of mascara, but they all dried up, clumped, flaked, smudged, and felt like a disappointing waste of money. I tried this one longer than most, but even with careful layering on top lashes only, couldn't avoid fibrous clumps that look anything BUT natural. I really dislike that thickened spider legs look!So with regret I have said good-bye to this brand. Having had good results with Lavera moisturizers, lipsticks, cleansers, and lotions, I am next trying their mascara. I just want flirty pretty eyelashes...PLEASE!

Very nice formula, beautiful color

I really love the color and the smell and I’m excited it’s natural. I want to give it 5 stars, but the brush on the wand broke off into the mascara... I only used it 6 times. I would have hoped a premium mascara would have quality tools. Otherwise I loved it while I could use it
