Young and old alike....who does not like Eric Carle books? With their simple stories that always make us smile. The art in these books are FANTASTIC. Really eye catching and to me, that is so so so important to a child who is a visual learner. Actually it is great for any child (or adult...haha...like me) who needs and loves to see those bold colors and whimsical pictures. I bought this for my granddaughter to start her book collection (she is only 5 months old but hey, it's never too early to teach a child the love of books and reading). I could go on and on but I will say this small board board is simple, sturdy, colorful, and meaningful. To put words together with colorful, yet simple art.....to me that equals a classic. A winner in our home. My 8 year old daughter has the Eric Carle book about an artist who paints a horse blue. It is her go to book every time she sits down to read some for fun and has kept that book close for years!! I am sure Love from the Very Hungry Caterpillar will be a big hit here as well.

My daughter slept with this book for weeks. It’s one of her go to faves. But we’re big very hungry caterpillar fans in this house.

In an effort to reduce the snacks and sweets in my toddlers Valentine’s Day basket, I opted for a book as one of the items. He loves very hungry caterpillar books, so this will be a good addition. Also like the size - not to big or small.

I purchased this book for my 6 month old grandson. It is hard to keep those little guys still. He loved the vivid pictures and there are not many words on each page. It is a super cute story that held his attention through the entire book. I really like the author and this book did not disappoint. My 4 year old grandson is able to read to my 6 month old grandson with the ease in reading. It builds his confidence in reading and the baby loves it. Great purchase!
