Will this work for the PlayStation 5 to add storage?

Yes, you have to have the Playstation format the drive so that it can see it correctly.

Why does mine form a white moldy fuzz on the exterior that does not go away?

I have the same problem and keep wiping it down and washing it every day. A white powder keep forming. I've tried washing it, but it returns the next day.

Size in mm and inches? Internal?

Look the pictures, it is external. 1.5 mm. Slightly too thick, from my opinion. But it dies the job. Finally, it is almost perfect. Buy it. No hesitation…

Why there is no black Silicone Bumper

There is...mine is black. Unless they just discontinued black in the last few weeks?
