3M Industrial Adhesive 4799, Black, 1 Quart Can

I had an area on my flat roof that I had already used Liquid rubber and seam tape to try and fix. The problem was that the tape would work itself through the liquid rubber and cause a small hole. The seam tape only magnified the issue and I had an area that I needed to rerubber. I am not a roofer and this area happened to be around a skylight that was not leaking but would have needed to be included in new rubber. I bought a sheet of EPDM and installed it overtop of the existing using this for adhesive. It is thick and challenging to work with, but I basically outlined the seams, and put an occasional X in the middle. I laid this down and rolled it flat, an hour later, it is part of the first sheet. I used lap sealant around the new sheet and that was that, no more leaks. The job looks professional. This is a better option even with the price if you have a nasty leak, because once you get the new rubber overtop, you have moved out your area of issue to the edges of the new rubber. The lap sealant takes care to make sure I didn't miss anything. I will likely buy more of this in order to add years to the life of my roof.

Used this to fix rubber roof drip edge strip that goes over to seal it. Worked good a little goes a long way as well.

This product was moments away from being a chunk of garbage. Opened the can up and out plopped a gelatinous blob that was barely spreadable and gave only a few moments to work with before it flashed off and wouldn't bond the two pieces of material. I would be highly skeptical if I were you before ordering and if you do, check the product immediately upon receipt and send back if trash. Terribly disappointed in the seller for supplying this product as it is expensive and a high quality product should be sent.

Tried to use this to stick rubber letters to my tires but they just peel off. For something called INDUSTRIAL ADHESIVE for rubber, this glue doesn’t work. It’s too expensive for it not to work! Decided to just use a $2.00 tube of super glue. Don’t waste your money with this product, just get you some Gorilla super glue!!!

I used this tape to seal the edges of a 25 yr old rubber roof, and so far the patching has held upI bought a heavy duty roller to help with the sealing and adherence of the tape.I thought i had ordered black but they sent white.. not a big deal,

Great product. I needed to raise my pond skimmer so I used it to patch the cut out where my pond skimmer was. Works great, very strong bond.

I suspect I got an old can that's been on the shelf. It literally was like thick snot which gave you only a couple of moments to work a small area. Inconsistent in the amount you put down because on the thickness. I was stuck using it. In no way would I order again.
