The shampoo is perfect for color treated hair. I use Herbatint hair color. My color lasts a long time and my hair is vibrant and easily managed. I had guests who also used the shampoo who did not color their hair. They loved the shampoo and how soft and nice their hair felt and so easily managed. I won't use any other shampoo after finding Herbatint.

I received compliments all the time for the shine, but I’m sure that depends on what type of hair you have. I have thin hair.

I have been using Herbatint 5N coloring since 1996. Love it. Get lots of compliments. (I'm 82) Had never used the shampoo. The 1st bit I use does not make suds. Have to add more. I use the conditioner provided in the box and love it. I decided to try the shampoo as I noticed I am having to color hair more frequently. Trusting it will do the job!

I have just started using the Herbatint Shampoo for color-treated hair. It makes my hair feel great and doesn't dry it out as some others I have tried did. I also just tried the Herbatint conditioner. Really like that, too. I tried them first as samples within the box of Herbatint hair dye and liked them so much I decided purchase them. Glad I did.

I ordered this shampoo because I have been using Herbatint color to cover my grays. The label on the bottle states that the product is "Color Safe and would preserve color intense and bright for longer." It dried my hair and stripped the color after I used it for the first time. My grays are now showing. The color is dull not vibrant. My hair is dull not shiny. Then I read the ingredients. The first ingredient is water. The second ingredient is Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate. Not only is this ingredient harmful to any hair and scalp, it is considered a carcinogen. I do not recommend this shampoo if you care about preserving color. The product does not fulfill what is advertised.

I love this shampoo, I can feel that my hair loss is much better since I’m using this shampoo with the hair color. It has a good smell but makes my hair so dry I need to use conditioner after each shampooing. In sum, that’s the only shampoo I’m using since I used it!

Being using this for almost 5yrs now, it works good for me even when I changed location. Maintained the color and very smoothing fragnance. I do not take any recommendation cause this is working for me so well.
