Reliable, long range and long battery life
This unit really works well (sometimes too well). It reliably and automatically pairs with your cell phone after the initial pairing. The battery lasts a long time becuase the unit turns itself off after 15 minutes after losing the parring (i.e., after walk away from the car). The reason I said "too well" is because it has pretty long range for bluetooth. The reason this can be a problem is if I park the car right outside my house back door and go into the house but I am near the back door, it stays paired with the phone. If I receive a call while still paired, the sound will coming out of the unit in the car and my cell phone will not have any sound. The sound is pretty good for phone calls although I don't think it would very good playing music (I have never tried it for that).

Great car speak for my phone
This thing works amazingly well. It is plenty loud and stays connected well to my phone (Galaxy Nexus) using Bluetooth. It is very easy to operate. I have been using my speaker for about 2 months and have only needed to charge the battery once; when I first received it. It still has a high charge left on it. This speaker runs a really long time on a single charge. It has a nice feature where you can press the button on the speaker and it will ask you who you want to call. You just speak the name of the person and it uses Google voice search to locate the person and their phone number in your contacts. If you have more than one phone number for that person then it will ask you to select 1 for home or select 2 for mobile, etc. Prior to using this speaker I never used Google voice search. So, that is a very nice feature.I highly recommend this speak to anyone who doesn't want to operate their android cell phone while driving or can't because of the law or who's phone has a low volume speaker, which most phone really do, especially in a moving car making lots of background noise.Unless you have one of those systems in your car that bluetooths your phone into the stereo system, then you need one of these speakers while driving.

Good for the price, but with a few flaws
Bought one of these knowing the discount I was getting instead of buying the one in retail packaging.Exactly as described, good sound and I do like the ability of pairing up to 6 phones (only two can be active at a given time).Haven't tested the battery life yet, although I expect to last long. Will update as soon as my testing concludes.Sound quality is good, I can hear loud enough at max volume. Audio is actually louder when connected to a power source.UPDATE:Have been using it for a couple of weeks now: Audio quality is good, but what I don't like is that phones doesn't reconnect automatically.I normally leave the unit switched on all the time, and I usually make short trips where I leave and re-enter the car regularly. I've noticed that the speakerphone doesn't reconnect when I'm in the car again. I have to switch the power off and on to make it work.I'm not even talking about battery life here, just the ability to pair itself when it's not being used for a while.Left one of this turned on all night and next morning it was already with low battery (it was supposed to go to sleep if no phones are active)Not happy.

Okay for the price.
I received the speaker quickly. The speaker was packaged like new but when I took it out of the box it looked like it may have been used - perhaps returned by someone who had changed their mind? It didn't appear brand new. It works fine and it's not scratched or dirty it just doesn't look new. Maybe that's how they're sold, I'm not sure so I don't want to say they sent me a used or returned one. It was easy to pair and it seems to work fine. It is a very basic unit that I purchased to comply with a hands free law going into effect on July 1. It won't play music from my cell phone or do much of anything but act as a speaker. The speaker quality is okay. On the loudest setting the sound gets a little distorted and on bumpy roads it's hard to hear over the car noise. I still have to press a button on the speaker to answer a call and use my cell phone to initiate the call, so it's not totally hands free but it will keep me from getting a ticket for talking on my cell phone while driving (I think).

Trouble keeping the phone paired
I purchased 2 of these for Christmas gifts this year and both had to be sent back. They both were able to pair just fine with the phone. However, they did not retain the pairing so if you left the car for a while and came back, the unit did not automatically detect the phone again and connect to it. Initially we thought it was due to an older style flip phone, and after sending an inquiry to Motorola, they also agreed it must be the phone. We ended up doing an exchange for the unit thinking maybe it was just a bad unit. Well, the 2nd unit came and that one did the same exact thing. Shortly after, the user upgraded their phone to the newest iPhone and guess what? She had the same problem. You can't tell me that this unit should not be compatible with the newest iphone. The other individual who received this unit had the exact same experience and issues as noted above. I ultimately returned both units to Amazon (and suggested they pull this unit off their site until they can confirm if there is a defect) and replaced them with the Motorola T325. Both of their phones work flawlessly with the T325 and every time they get into their car, the T325 announces it's connection.I would caution that you may have a pairing issue with the TX500, but I would highly recommend the T325 as a solid performer. I see some other reviews have also noted this problem with the TX500 not detecting the phone every time.

Very clear
Works really well and very clear sound quality. Only slight issue as it does not work well with the voice control on an iPhone4 for some reason - need to look into this further. However, works perfectly with an iPhone 4S.

TX500
Very easy to set up and start using and a quick read of the manual will have you using it like a pro. The speaker is sufficiently loud and it clamps very securely to my sun visor. Worked right away with my Motorola Defy. Something I have noticed is that my phone still connects to it when I get out of the car or when I am in my house. It just means I have to toggle bluetooth here and there.
