Superb book
This is a flip-the-flaps book. It not only has trucks (a favorite of toddlers) but also has other forms of transportation of every kind. It also shows opposites in size, features colors & it even has a page where the child can count the number of tires a vehicle has & then see if they are right. It's well thought out, has wonderful pictures and has things that other books haven't thought to include. My 20 month old grandson handled the flaps really well & absolutely loves this book.

He had the baby version of this book and absolutely loved this more “advanced” version. Loved opening and closing all the flaps.

Fun and Informative
20mo loves this book - yes, some of the names for the vehicles are little funny, but he doesn't care and loves the flaps.

Nice book, with lots of flaps to look under.
My grandson loves this book. He knows what’s under all the flaps, but it’s still one of his favorites.

Big book for older child - not really a board book for infants.
This is a nice book but it is not a board book. The pages are thick board book style but the flaps are just a thin flap, easy to rip, a bit thicker than paper. Many pages have photos of trucks that look like flaps but are not so this is frustrating for a toddler. The book is also large almost a foot square. It is 11 inches by 11 inches so when open it is 22 inches wide by 11 inches high. This book has questions to answer that are solved by opening the correct flap. Match the job to the truck, and that sort of thing. I recommend the book but you may have to wait for your child to be ready for it. My guess would be 3 - 4 year old, the child would need some verbal skills. I think this book is best suited for a beginner reader or older child. If you want the board book version with board style flaps, there is one by the same author that is more suitable for a 1 - 2 year old but does not have flaps The title is First 100 Trucks, and things that go. That version is perfect for small hands and a 1 - 2 year old can hold it themselves. If you are looking for board books with board flaps try a search for Lift The Flap Board books. Hope this helps you choose.

Colourful, Engaging and Fun
This book is bright and beautiful, durable and fascinating to my grandson. He loves trucks and never tires of this book. We have gone through all the toys and matched them up to the pictures in the book. He finds new ways to enjoy this book over and over and I’m very happy I purchased this book!!!

A book that will grow with your toddler! ✨
After researching a lot, bought this book for my 2 year old son on his birthday. He is fascinated by the book, loves to lift the flaps, and is very inquisitive. Easily keeps him engaged for 15-20mins. There are so many concepts like count the wheels, associating jobs with vehicles, identifying the colors, opposites, etc. My 2 year old is yet to get a grasp of all of them. So, this is a book that will surely grow with him. It can easily keep a 6-8 year old engaged also.

More in depth and fun for kids
Very nice! More in depth than its board book counterpart. The pages are thick but not boards and the book is very big too, which is fun for my kiddo. Very educational and big winner with my son!

Great for vocabulary
This and the other lift the flap first 100 words books are some of the best we own. My kids aged 1, 2, and 3 just love them and want to read them again and again. There's no real story but they are great for building vocabulary.
