Good beans!
I'm no expert on cacao beans, but these beans were nice. They stayed whole, didn't break apart after roasting. Tasted good. No bug chews, no mold. The bag is actually not see-through plastic, like in the pictures, which is probably better for preserving quality. I'd order again. I roasted for 15 minutes on a stove top gas burner. Smells like brownies!

Very good quality Indian cacao beans
Very good quality beans. These are not roasted but fermented and dried only.

great taste and flavor
Bought 1 kg pack , it is of clear brown in color, properly fermented and dried. I got right quality powder from it with rich aroma and taste from it when added in milk, in home mode cake. All the beans I got are of same brown color, uniform in size and weight , with no excess moisture , clean. All beans are of good quality, no wastage and it worth the money ...it is great to experience in tasting the difference of properly fermented and good quality beans

Bad mixed quality of beans
Got the package and it smelled wierd and fermented. Feels like half the beans are not edible as there is some fungus in the core which makes it unbearable to eat. I recommend to try some other product. I have wasted my money with this and of course the time required to shell out the beans. I am truly disappointed.

Weird smell. And package was soaked in Coconut oil.
The beans itself were okay, a weird smell though. But the packet was soaked in Coconut oil for some reason. Kind of disappointed.

Nice deal
Very good quality beans which I was not expecting at this price... Made very nice chocolate . After roasting properly gives good flavour. Little bit moisture was there but bcz I roasted them so I don't really care.

Gud value for money but very bitter(add salt to reduce bitterness)
Taste is very bitter(like neem bitterness) so u have to add salt and baking soda to reduce bitterness. Also the product smells fermented but doesn't taste fermented so before using transfer it to a closed container and leave it for 5days... Then use the beans it reduced the strong bitter taste and increased the aroma.

The roasted cocoa nibs tasted tangy!
I skipped the conching and tempering process, the chocolates turned out great but this bag of cacao beans produced tangy and fruity kind of chocolate. But overall I liked the taste. Will experiment more. This batch was roasted at 140°C for 26 min, next I will trying out the 170°C for 20 min one. Edit (18/03/22): so 170°C for 20 min turned out to be the best roasting temperature. Conch the chocolate liquor for 2 hrs in wet grinder, you will have some smooth tasting chocolate!!!
