Use caution when measuring barrel jack.
I was hoping to use this to connect my Wiim mini to my linear power supply. No current to the Wiim. I was initially blaming the product. After some trouble shooting, found that power supply had 2.5/5.5 mm male barrel plug, not 2.1. The USB-C adapter worked fine.

Will not supply enough current for even a reasonable use
Apparently this won't conduct enough power to run a Raspberry Pi 4B. The voltage drop at normal operating current is enough to cause the Pi to malfunction. Took a regular USB type A to type C cable, cut it and used it to supply power from the same supply and it worked just fine. I keep finding electronics like this that are poorly designed, with no specs and if you complain all they do is send you another and beg for a 5 star review. Amazon, are you listening?

DO NOT USE ON GOPRO YOU WILL BE SORRY
I bought this to help power my gopro and it fried them.. These are put power on you data pin and will cause unwanted voltage on the wrong pins for your device. I fried 2 go pro 7 blacks. WTF!!!!

Can't be used for high watts
Don't seem to fast charge. Not compatible if you try adapting a 100 Watt charger

Parece que no puede servirnos a muchas personas.
Los compré para reutilizar mis fuentes de alimentación con un ordenador nuevo con conector de corriente USB3 y sencillamente no me funcionan. Puedo imaginarme que las fuentes de alimentación más modernas con USB3 incorporan electrónica de control de la que carecerían el combinado usando este adaptador. Así que más que defecto de fabricación pueda tratarse de funcionalidades incompatibles.
