Okay so I have dry skin - the only way I can use this is if it's the summer or if I went thru a 10-step skincare routine and my skin is already THICC with moisture by the time I reach this last step. However it's PERFECT for oily skin and great for combo too. I'd recommend the Rovectin Cica Balm if you are dry but this is so lightweight and nice when I have a sensitive rosacea flare up it's my go to so my skin can be soothed and breathe.Often I'll use it on days I add in an oil step - I get the oil straight up so a thicc moisturizer isn't needed - this is perfect. The smell is nice and it comes with cute stickers I put all over the back - so I have the minimalist front and party in the back. Gender neutral look and smell, also great for an intro item for people who never use ANYTHING. Highly recommend overall - staple in my skincare stash.

The Rovectin Lotus gel moisturizer is fantastic. Lotus has the ability to pull toxins out of the skin, so its a win. This product has a CRAZY amount(72%?) of Lotus extract. Only a product that is VERY, VERY expensive has anywhere near this amount. I can easily put this product head to head with a product like Tatcha Water Cream, which is more than tripple the price. This is not a dupe, but rather a fantastic, unique product that stands on its own. I have used this for two years and I highly, highly recommend it.

I have extremely sensitive skin, and I read great things about this lotion so I was really hopeful. It went on without burning or stinging and it has a great texture, not too thin or thick. I thought I had found my holy grail lotion at last. Unfortunately, within a couple of days my skin began showing signs of inflammation. There must be something in it my skin isn't happy with. Bummer. This is probably a great lotion for 95% of people, whose skin isn't as ridiculously finicky as mine.

I have sensitive, somewhat acne-prone skin, and like to keep my skincare super simple. I maybe got 1-2 pimples when I switched to this moisturizer (I rarely change products), but my skin adjusted super quickly and I've loved it ever since. It leaves your skin glowing all day without being greasy and doesn't pill! Only downside is the price imo.

It's really amazing!Cons-▪︎ I didn't find this moisturizer to be the most hydrating with one application. If I add another layer like the directions tell me to do, then it pills underneath my makeup.▪︎ This moisturizer did not keep my skin feeling hydrated all day when I did a wear test using my regular serums, toners & only Rovectin (no makeup).Overall, I'd say that it's a 4.5/5. They only two drawbacks were the pilling under my makeup after applying too much and that I felt that it didn't keep my skin hydrated all day. The positives were that it makes my pores appear smaller, which is why I bought this specific product, and it is safe for sensitive skin. The price is fantastic!

I love how lightweight this moisturizer is. I usually avoid heavy products on my face, so this one felt perfect—light, breathable, and comfortable to wear all day.

This moisturizer was promoted to me as acne safe, however within 2 days of use i noticed a TON of new whiteheads on my upper cheeks and on my chin. this hydrated well but i wish my skin could tolerate it. (The Sweet Almond Oil in this product is a potential hazard for combo/acne skin like mine).
