I had another brand for a number of years. It was heavy and you had to tap the top to get it to start - then step on it to get the weight. Recently started giving me different readings even when left in same spot and only 10 min apart. Got this one and it is ALWAYS the same reading and as soon as you step on it. Smaller and light weight too. Happy with the scale - not happy with my weight.
