Good adequate quality.
So far so good. Got this as an extra to keep on another level of our split level home to have access to filtered water there. Recovering from a stroke my walking distances is a bit of a challenge and unfortuntely this will NOT fit under the nearest bathroom faucet to refill easily so I have to walk further or carry it from another level 5 steps up...but in general a good buy and works well. Do note that the lid fits snug, and to more easily lift it off to refill, part of the lid has an area you can put your fingers under to easily lift up and make the task a breeze.

Great Pitcher for Filtering Water!
I love, love, love this pitcher!! No more spending money on gallons of water! I was in the grocery store yesterday, laughing like a madwoman when I went down the water aisle because I no longer have to buy water and lug it up 3 flights of stairs anymore! I drink a lot of water, and I recently moved and the extremely hard water at my previous place prohibited me from buying a pitcher to filter it. There was too much going on with it, I didn't believe it could be filtered enough. My new apartment, however, has water that's a little less hard and after doing an in-home water test, I was thrilled to discover that there were no questionable additives to my tap water. It is hard, however, but I felt confident in buying a water filtering pitcher and after looking at pitchers here on Amazon, I really loved the reviews I read for this one, the Amazon Basics 10-cup Pitcher. I ordered it and it came overnight (awesome shipping!). The set up was easy - the instructions are very clear; the main thing is preparing the filter - but once that's done, you can start filtering, and you've got fresh water, and it tastes amazing! It comes with 1 filter, and it lasts 2 months. I have a 3-pack of these filters in my cart right now, but the pitcher also uses the Brita filters, too, which is really cool from a compatibility standpoint. I know it probably seems like a simple thing, but I'm sure many of you can relate if you rely on bottled water. I have been drinking bottled water for a long time and I'm constantly buying it and I'm getting tired of doing that. I have running water in my home; I should be able to drink it! And with this water filtering pitcher, now I confidently can. I highly recommend it!!

The lid on this needs a redo.
I've used this product for over a year. Overall this pitcher is great. It's a good size, filters pretty quickly, can use the less expensive filters, and is sturdy, The only gripe I have is the lid. It needs a complete overhaul, then this product would be a full 5 star product. The issues with the lid are as follows: the lid needs to be pushed down firmly to prevent lit from falling off when you pour the water, but by doing so, when you have to remove the lid to refill the pitcher, you have to wiggle the lid back and forth and then give it a really good yank to get it off again. Secondly the pour spout is horrible. It easily flops fully open when you pour water into another container whether that be a coffee maker reservoir or a water bottle. Additionally, the water stream is too wide so that filling water bottles requires an act of steady precision that should not be a requirement of simply pouring water from one container to another. Would I buy this again, yes, but I'm hoping that by the time I have to replace the one I have, the lid has been vastly improved. Hint Hint Amazon design engineers.

Good Replacement Pitcher for Brita or Kirkland Pitchers at a Much Better Price Point
I purchased this product as a replacement for a Kirkland (Costco) pitcher that I'd had for several years which itself was a replacement for a Brita pitcher. My husband and I drink a lot of water and we appreciate that we can fill this pitcher from the tap and drink as much as we want without having to use plastic water bottles, thus having a positive environmental impact. Pros: This was easy to set up. The instructions seem to be similar to the other water pictures I've owned. It comes with one filter and putting the filter in was simple. The pitcher is easy to clean and the lid fits securely. The water pours well and there are no drips. I thought the water tasted good - no mineral aftertaste. I like the feature on the top of the lid that reminds you when to change the filter, and I like that this can use the old filters I have so I am not wasting them. The plastic is clear and easy to see through. I just recently got the pitcher so I can't attest to how long it will work well, but my initial impression is positive. Cons: There are just two minor things I found a little bothersome, but not enough to reduce the rating. First, my old pitchers had a spot to flip up to fill the water. This one you have to take off the entire lid. It's not a big deal - just a difference. On the flip side, it's one less piece to break, so maybe this isn't really a con at all. The second thing is that when I had to empty the first two pitchers full of water (normal - ensures any loose charcoal from the filter is out), I took the lid off to dump out the pitcher and the fill area started to slide out of the pitcher. In both of my old pitchers (each different brands - see above), this didn't happen because the reservoir seemed to be more firmly in place and it took a little pulling to get it out for cleaning purposes. I was caught off guard and had to catch the reservoir before it fell into the sink. I guess the pitcher isn't designed to pour without the lid on (which would obviously prevent the reservoir from falling out) which is why I don't think it deserves a reduction in stars - it's just something to be mindful of if you choose to use the pitcher without the lid.

Value and utility
I got one to use at home, a few weeks later I bought another one for the office. Easy to use, by the time I walk from the fountain to my desk, it's ready to pour. Good pitcher, solid value.

Simple Pitcher That Makes Daily Water Taste Better
I’ve been using the Amazon Basics 10-Cup Water Pitcher as part of my everyday routine, and it’s been a straightforward, no-stress way to improve the taste of our tap water. Setup was easy right out of the box, and the pitcher fits nicely in the fridge without taking up too much space. Filling it is simple, and the water filters through at a reasonable pace—fast enough that you’re not waiting around, but thorough enough to notice a difference. What stood out most was the taste improvement. The water comes out clean and crisp, especially noticeable if your tap water has a chlorine or mineral aftertaste. I like that it’s compatible with Brita filters, so replacements are easy to find, and knowing it’s WQA and NSF certified adds peace of mind. It’s not flashy, but it does exactly what you want it to do—reliable, practical, and easy to work into daily life for drinking water, coffee, and cooking.

Surprisingly good!
This pitcher has been great for everyday use. It filters pretty quickly and the water tastes clean and fresh and honestly great! The size is good, big enough to last but still fits easily in the fridge. It feels sturdy and doesn’t leak. For the price, it’s a really solid option!

OK but not great
This is a very basic water pitcher - which mostly does what it should. The included filter has been acceptable at improving water taste and filters slightly more quickly than the name brand. Pros: - Can pour before filtering is complete without mixing of water - Quick filtration Negatives: - There is no flip up option for refilling - the lid has to be removed. - With a few weeks of use, the lid has gotten "stickier" and more difficult to remove. It now tries to remove the water filtration basket with it - which can be a pain as we refill the pitcher more than a few times a day. Would not buy again because of the lid issue. Otherwise, it's a fine pitcher.
