This guide is a nice step by step on how to perform salat. It's compact enough to keep in my bag when I'm out

This little book delivers what it promises: Read it and you will know how to pray! The content is concise, yet understandable and informative. Everything is explained in a simple, friendly way, and the author also provides photos and covers various scenarios, as well as ending with external resources and videos. For a new convert/revert, or even just as a "check in" after years, this is a great guide to learning prayer. It would also be a nice resource for someone who wants to learn a bit about Islam or Muslims, to be more understanding and accepting.The Kindle version has a good layout and easy navigation. I hope my images (screenshots) will help to show that.

The media could not be loaded. For a person learning about Islam is a good way to being introduced. I wish there were photos not only of the men but also of the women how they pray. I wish there was a link where we could hear the Arabic pronunciation. It’s a bit repetitive and simplistic but informative and that’s better than not knowing anything as I did. I would buy again for others that are new.

Very consise and straight to the point to help you get started immediately, despite never praying Islamic prayers before. Great gift for someone new to the religion or interested in learning more about the daily practices of a Muslim

I used this book to learn how to pray 9 years ago when I converted. I have since purchased several copies and give them out to converts regularly. The book breaks down the prayer into parts so that you are comfortable with each part as you master it. It seems a little confusing if you read through the whole thing, but trust the process… follow the steps as they are listed and once you master a step, move to the next one. It is permissible to hold this while you pray and read out of it until you have memorized it completely. As a non-Arabic speaker, I love that it leaves the longer memorization parts until the last step. I still remember the day I finished memorizing and didn’t need the book anymore.
