Perfect for my application
I was looking for a USB cable suitable for a power connection. I have an LED desk lamp with built-in wireless phone charger that used a micro-USB connector for input power. The lamp's fragile connector failed and I needed an inexpensive USB cable that I could permanently connect to the lamp, bypassing the connector. I wanted 24AWG power conductors and it had to be cheap. These mini-USB cables are practically obsolete and therefore inexpensive. I simply chopped the mini-USB end off of the cable, drilled the appropriate size hole in the lamp base, pushed the cable through the hole, and soldered the power wires to the required connection points. I used some zip-ties on the cable inside the base to keep it from pulling out. This was a successful permanent repair!

Have you ever tried to plug you I Phone or IPad with to short of a charging cable? Well here is you chance to end one of life's small but irritating pet peeves...'To short of a cable' ...bummer! During these time of COVID 19 sequestering I don't need another frustration. The world is 'jonesing' to get out of the house and get back to the hustle and bustle of crowds with masses of people to contend with especially and transportation jams with their phones and IPads fully charged when they go out. This cable allows all of my dreams to be fulfilled. It is a great product that ends boredom by having my phone ready and fully operational so I can function in society with an assurance that I have my lifeline, my phone, ready to back me up in any situation. Thank you to the great manufacturer for giving me Peace Of Mind.
