NuWallpaper NU1646 Ariel Black and White Damask Peel & Stick Wallpaper, Multicolor

I’m a hairstylist who purchased this wallpaper to use on a small portion of one of my walls as a backdrop in my home studio when filming videos/taking photos of clients. I LOVE it. It was easy to install, I just peeled off the backing and literally stuck it to my wall. It’s suggested by this manufacturer to use some sort of tool to smooth out any air pockets and really get the best adhesion, but to be honest I didn’t even use one. I simply smoothed it out with my hands and it worked just fine. The quality of the vinyl is AMAZING and this particular grey and white damask pattern is flipping gorgeous. I couldn’t be happier with this wallpaper, it was EXACTLY what I wanted for my purposes and is sticking perfectly. I don’t think I could peel this wallpaper off my wall if I tried, it’s stuck THAT well. VERY IMPORTANT: For the reviewers saying that this wallpaper doesn’t stick and uploading pics of this wallpaper falling off, the reason is because your wall has TEFLON PAINT or a type of washable paint that is designed specifically to REPEL stains. The manufacturer of this product CLEARLY states in the instructions that if you have this type of paint you must first use a PRIMER to prime the wall so that the wallpaper will adhere. My walls are literally brand new (recently moved into a newly built house) with flat paint and this wallpaper sticks like CRAZY. Again I couldn’t peel it off if I wanted to. So for those considering buying this wallpaper don’t hesitate, just understand that if you have older walls, dirty walls or walls that are painted with certain kinds of paint, they need to be CLEANED and PRIMED first, then this product will perform PERFECTLY. It’s very unfair to this company to claim that their product doesn’t work when in fact some consumers may be misunderstanding that their wall must be properly prepped first. I almost didn’t buy this wallpaper based on bad reviews/pics and I’m so glad I went with the positive reviews instead because again I LOVE this wallpaper and it is performing to perfection. As a final note I’ve now had this wallpaper up for almost 3 months and it hasn’t budged. Not so much as a buckle. It’s fantastic and I highly recommend it. Pics attached.

I was concerned that putting this wallpaper over existing paneling, with all of its lines and imperfections would 1) not adhere well and 2) not look smooth. However, the finished look was incredible! It looked smooth (can’t tell that there paneling underneath) and the print is gorgeous! It was a little challenging to line up the image but the quality of this wallpaper is amazing and worth the effort and time to install. I did the work on my own, with minor help from my 8-year-old daughter. The trick, in my opinion, is to use an Expo eraser (for dry erase white boards) as it’s softer and less harsh than a wallpaper scraper. This is especially important if you’re adhering it to surfaces or walls that may not be smooth or might have some uneven areas. In the images here, you can see one with the paneling (wall) and the other with the wallpaper applied over it.

Uhm! LOVE LOVE LOVE Its gorgeous! I used as an accent on my ceiling for my bedroom and I AM in love! I was super worried about using wallpaper and have a love hate relationship since I swear I’ve spent an ungodly amount of hours removing it from homes I purchased in my life! Sticker background and guess what?! It’s not too hard to RE ADJUST!! So we had the bravery of going FULL panel for about a space of 18 feet on the ceiling - and guess what? It’s amazing! Tips - humidity of your space is going to help you. Be patient and let the wallpaper adjust when unrolled and stick to the surface. You can lift and readjust! I was worried my perfectionism was going to drive me nuts if I couldn’t align the pattern - but I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s not a problem. I wanted to add something to the wall behind my bed but did not want to paint. I was apprehensive with this type of paper as I do live on the port in Tampa, FL where it is hot and humid. So first, I bought a roll as a trial and installed one piece and left it for a week to see if it would stay up and it did! Now I have papered the entire wall and it has been 3 weeks and I could not be happier. The overall effect is stunning! The paper is very easy to work with and although the pattern is large, it was actually very forgiving in how you match up the seams. Unless you are standing right next to the wall and looking for them, you cannot even see the seams. My recommendation when using this paper or any other is just to make sure you exercise patience. It took me about an hour and a half total and 4 rolls to paper my wall which is 9 x 7. There was some excess, to be expected when matching the pattern, but it was not much. I would just recommend that anyone preparing to install the paper first do a test piece and leave it up to see if it can adapt to your climate before investing a lot of time. For me, it was time and money well spent to completely change the look of my bedroom.

This is such beautiful wallpaper. It's well made and looks to be high quality. It's fairly easy to reposition though it does like to stick on itself quite easily. It didn't, unfortunately, stick well to my walls. I found a recipe for Elmer's glue mixed with water and that worked well without being too permanent. It also was easy to clean. Overall, great product! I included pictures before and after of our mudroom.

Wanted something temporary to update this bathroom before we can afford to remodel. This stuff is great. We had bought more expensive peel and stick paper to use in a different bathroom. It was more difficult than this stuff. Very easy to install. Highly recommend buying the little installation kit (especially the felt covered smoother and the exacto knife) to put up. I suggest buying an extra roll if you can afford it to give yourself room match up the pattern especially when making lots of cuts like in a bathroom.

I was scared it was going to fall off but it didn't! It held up n it looks beautiful!

I was a little hard to match up the pattern exactly but I did have an uneven wall and a window to go around. The tip is to look at top/start of every roll. Match up the pattern and look for the one with the shortest piece above it. Use that one first. I didn't look and I used the longest one, when I started the next roll I had to waste almost 2 ft to match up the pattern. The pattern repeats every strip so easy to lay it out. I assumed the top of the roll starts in the same spots but it was off by a few inches for me.

Paper looks good once up but my decorator had real trouble with the peel and stick. I had to buy a second roll as well because the peel and stick is very wasteful. Looks good now although the over time it seems to stretch. Not the Best Buy ever but I do like the pattern.

The pattern was a little tricky and caused a lot of waste. Luckily I only wanted to cover a small area. This was one roll. If I wanted to do a whole wall I would have probably need 5 or 6. Maybe less if you are willing to use a bunch of small pieces to make the pattern line up. Over all for what I wanted it was great. Loved it. I would have this product again and again and I am always happy with it.
