I grew up in south Alabama and Claxton fruitcake was a staple in my family's Christmas goodies. Living alone now, I either did without my Claxton's or faced having to eat an entire 1 pound package quickly before it got stale. This year, I have had my Claxton and enjoyed it over several weeks, so I'm happy! I even have several slices left to snack on until the expiration date in a few months!! Thank you, Claxton!

I sent this kind of fruitcake to my sister and her family and she said they were wonderful! She liked the individual wrapped portions because that was just enough for 1 serving and it stayed nice and fresh. Her husband was looking for more after the 20 were all gone. These come directly from the bakery in Claxton! Claxton fruitcakes are absolutely the best tasting fruitcakes that you can find. These are individually wrapped slices you can use for small gifts or stocking stuffers.

My second order, does that mean it becoming a staple? I think so, they are so convenient, no need to feel you have to finish a whole cake. Quality is the best of fruitcakes, and they definitely earned a spot in my pantry.
