The CUCKOO CRP-RT0609FW has completely changed how I cook rice and meals. The twin-pressure feature gave me the ability to pick high or soft pressure depending on what I was making. It doesn't matter if it's fluffy white rice or hearty brown rice, it always comes out nice. The 14 menu options are so convenient; I've made GABA rice, porridge and steamed vegetables. The nonstick inner pot is a huge help when it comes to clean-up, and the Auto Clean is an awesome feature that makes it easy to keep clean without extra effort. I liked the Safe Steam Release safety feature, and the 3-language voice guide in English, Korean, and Chinese is pretty nifty and surprisingly helpful. Overall, this rice cooker is sleek, smart, and affordable. It looks great on your counter and cooks like some high quality, restaurant-quality, worth-every-penny kind-of-machine each time. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that wants dependable, high-tech cooking that is easy and enjoyable!

If I am being completely honest, this purchase was made mostly for its aesthetics. It looks fantastic on my counter and matches my kitchen. But once I started using it, I haven’t stopped looking for reasons to keep using it. Not only does it look great, it is fun to use with its integrated voice commands, and jingles, but it makes fantasticrice! And will make your rice in multiple ways and at different speeds depending on your timeframe. I have used it several times in the morning to make oatmeal and it does a fantastic job at both Traditional and steel cut. I have not found anything wrong with it or anything I would change. There are much less expensive rice cookers available, but when you open this and start using it, you will immediately appreciate the quality and fit and finish that was put into creating it. It is an appliance that I am proud to leave on my counter and I know that it will last for many years.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this rice cooker. It replaced an older model Cuckoo rice cooker whose insert got damaged. It was a workhorse in our household and we used it daily. This one is even better as it has a self clean mode, turbo-pressure mode or regular mode. It is super simple to use and it makes perfect rice--all kinds of rice--every single time! This is my favorite small appliance we have. Amazing value for the money, especially when others can go in the several hundreds. The color is great--easy to wipe down and take apart. Be sure to wash the insert by hand and not use anything sharp or metal when scooping out food--it will last a lot longer.

Works reasonably well, though nurungi (rice at bottom of the pot) tends to be discolored even when not fully dried. Compared to our older cooker, the pot is much easier to clean and the handles make it easy to pop out even when hot for serving.

I originally ordered a different model, but returned it . It made rice just fine but it was very difficult to see the water line marks . They were black on black . This cost a little more but so far so good . I’ve only iced it once . It was delivered just about an hour ago . I used jasmine rice (2 cups ) with the steam function in turbo setting for sticky rice . It didn’t disappoint . When it started steaming , I wasn’t sure I was using it correctly. But I let it do its thing . It told me when the steam started and when it was finished . The sticky rice came out perfectly. Instructions are a bit hard to read . I need readers which i couldn’t find . The language setting was straight forward, however if you don’t do them fast enough in sequence it defaults back to where you originally started . This was only my first try , but so far no complaints

I have been in the market for a cuckoo for quite a while. I wanted a couple main things from this machine. First, I wanted it's main focus to be on cooking amazing consistent rice of all types that can be kept warm for hours to days. And second, I wanted to make sure I had the pressure cooking option, both for my rice and for making some pressure cooker "instant pot" type of meals on occasion. Its super convenient to be able to switch between pressure and non pressure modes using the locking mechanism on the lid! If you are looking for a premium pressure rice cooker with extra abilities, but don't want shell out $4-600 for cuckoo or zojirushi's top models, then this may be the right cooker for you! Its probably a little too small for use as an instant pot alternative if you have a large family. But for one to two people, you should have no problems, it just takes a little learning curve to figure out how to set times correctly. Plus, it automatically regulates the pressure for you during the cycle and will release the pressure on it's own when the cooking is done. HOW CONVENIENT IS THAT!!!?! They really do mean it when they say that the inner pot is non-stick. After all, it's main priority is making rice. I know for some people that may be a downside if they intend to burn and deglaze their pot for extra flavor in their dishes, but for rice.. it's a godsend, an absolute godsendd. And then if you add in the auto-clean function on top of that, amazing! Just give your dirty pot a quick rinse with some soapy water and then pop it back in the machine with some water for the auto-clean sterilization and you're ready for next time. Like most cuckoos, you'll be rewarded for cooking rice with the brand's cute little jingle at the end. It honestly makes my day everytime hahahha.

It was really great when I first got it but it’s been a few weeks and the rice made isn’t as nice anymore. The rice is often overcooked and smells quickly so not recommended to leave the rice warming. A bit disappointed as it’s a lot of money. It does make rice fast and that is nice.

This Cuckoo rice cooker is amazing. It cooks rice perfectly — soft, fluffy, and evenly cooked every time. The build quality feels premium, and the design looks sleek on the counter. I love the keep-warm function that keeps the rice fresh for hours without drying out. Definitely worth the price if you eat rice often!

Fantastic rice cooker. We used to have a cheap rice cooker you can pick up at any store, but this... this is on a whole other level. I absolutely love all of the cooking functions. The rice this cooker makes is cooked to perfection, every single grain is at the same level of doneness, no more gloopy rice for this guy! I haven't had the chance to test out the other recipes but from my understanding this does slow cooking, pressure cooking and a whole lot of other functions similar to the instapot (which I do have). I would 100% recommend this over an instapot as the instapot rice is not that great. The build quality is also fantastic. It was definitely built and engineered with the consumer in mind. The finish is fantastic, materials used are high quality and built with care, def a solid unit. It also looks great in the kitchen! 20/10 - would buy again

This rice cooker does an amazing job on the 2 types of rice I used, Basamati and Jasmine Brown rice. I tried both modes, pressure cook and non pressure cook. Both do excellent results however I have settled into non pressure as a preference. Cleanup is a breeze, however following instructions is important to prevent damage to the rice cooking inner pot. This is an ideal size for 1 to 3 people. Left over rice reheats well for later use. I am pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this brand and size.
