Exceptional build quality. Amazing image quality! Professional grade. Just works!
This camera is fantastic! The build quality is outstanding - far exceeded my expectations. Solid metal. Durable cable. Substantial lens. The whole thing is professional grade; something I would expect to be far more expensive than it is. I've been using the camera for over six months, including freezing temperatures. It just works! The image it transmits is amazing. I loved my fish pond before, but this underwater camera takes it to a whole new level. We stream the feed on YouTube, and my mom loves to keep it up on her screen. So do I! I'm super impressed and happy with this purchase.

Definetely a great purchase
I bought two of these and I put it on both ends of our pond. The clarity in these pictures does not do it justice. These were screenshots on a cloudy day with slightly cloudy water. The video can be even sharper if I ran these cameras at 4K vice1080p. I turned down the resolution and bitrate since I stream it on YT 24/7. I ran out of bandwidth for higher quality because I also have 10 other 4k security cameras on the network. The build quality on these cameras are great. It's very heavy so it does not move around at all. I am not sure if it was designed to be on a moving boat inside the water but in slow moving water I have no issues. As for the software, it's relatively complicated especially for a novice. You should already know about resolution, bitrate, FPS, VBR/CBR, H.264/264, etc. Customer service (even though it's in China) was one of the best services I've ever had. They responded really quick and very detailed in their emails. They answered all my questions on the PTZ presets and other questions. If I had anything negative to say, I don't quite like the gray network cable. I prefer black so it's harder to see. My solution was to cover the cable with black 1/4" split mesh loom tubing sleeves.

Typical Chinese garbage
Typical Chinese garbage. A poor quality of manufacture and even more dismal quality of applications to try and run it. Not to mention the security flaws of such software that can't even get digitally signed.

Bad quality product: updated Nov 2023 to good!
Got these two cams to play around before actually using on a sailboat and was really disappointed with everything. Except for their 316 bulletproof enclosure, nothing is really good about this product: i) despite some orators claimed good picture quality, the transmitted images are bad, I just made a comparison with my 30$ Amcrest cam, its nowhere close; ii) you can make it to work as an IP camera and access it via your mobile but many mobile apps require 37777 port forwarding (some 8000) which you cannot change in their web interface, so if 37777 is forwarded by another DVR in your setup, you are screwed. iii) their advertised app MKvsion (MKvision and similar) does not exist in Google app store; iv) most annoyingly, if you are planning to access the cams remotely via cellular LTE/5G modem router, the mobile companies block all ports at the high level, you would need to go via P2P; their P2P server is somewhere in China with the company umeye.com providing the hosting; the "umeye" app exists in Google app store but it is completely in Chinese; there is another app, so called "umeye pro", which is not in Google app store but can be downloaded from umeye (or its apk is supplied with the camera usb); this app can be installed on your Android with a big warning that is obsolete (2016 release)! Passing through all this nonsense and connecting the cams with this obsolete app, you would quickly realize that it takes forever to buffer and play the video since it all goes via a website located somewhere in China, and not via Amazon cloud servers. v) and yeah, last but not least, their well advertised support - I emailed them about all that a few days ago and yet to receive the reply. The verdict - it was a clever idea to package a image sensors into 316 enclosure (which btw makes the cams very heavy), but the rest of realization is the garbage and nowhere close to what this industry is up to now.Update November 2023: since price is halved, I decided to give another try and this time everything looks much better, image quality is up to the standards, the supplied software allows quick config, the camera now supports ONVIF, therefore any onvif cam app in app stores can be used for streaming video on smartphones (tried recommended XMeye and a couple more). I am assuming with some port forwarding stuff or UpNp one can make it work via internet but I didnt try. Also didnt try P2P since its no longer my priority. If P2P works, I will upgrade to 5 stars, but 4 stars for now.

Well made camera for the price
I have an 800 gallon above ground pond. I wanted to be able to watch the fish activity as I planned to had a few more this spring. Here in south Texas the water temps are in the mid 70's so am experiencing a mild algae bloom. My solution is to add a yearly dose of a few Tilapia and Plecos and the pond will clear up. The camera magnifies just how green the water is but the image is excellent. Packaging was excellent and installation was a breeze. Just connected to my Gryphon mesh router access point via ethernet, plugged in the power to everything and had Blue Iris locate the camera. Took about 5 minutes from start to finish. Blue Iris will support up to 60+ cameras so it also comes highly recommended.
