Perfect for what I needed
These are perfect for a DIY photo backdrop. I needed a cheap background to take product photos. I used some foam board, contact paper, and these brackets. So pleased with the result! I used thinner foam board than recommended, so I padded the sides of my board with some thick card paper. Highly recommend if you want to save money and make custom yet economical backdrops for photos.

Great Product
They worked extremely well and gave me more freedom in setting up multiple backdrops on the same shoot. They were also strong enough to not only hold the back drops in place but also to allow me to drape the backdrop with a few heavy items for the shots.

Sturdy, Quality, and Well-Built Products
I've worked on DIY photography backdrop boards and these brackets hold two 3/16" thick foam boards perfectly.

No complaints here.
To be honest, we did not use these for the purpose intended, but rather for a little invention lol. So I can’t tell you how it will work for the purpose intended. But it worked well for our little project. I can say that they’re sturdy.

Love these
I have a different brand of boards that had horrible brackets. Boards fell down if you looked at them!! These keep them tight and they stay put!!

Pricey, but they work.
These are expensive for what they are but they literally don’t make anything like these for photo boards… I use for my foam boards.. they do however work well…

May NOT hold up Replica Surfaces boards or DIY Foam boar
Just in case you’re wondering this does not hold up the Replica Surfaces boards. In fact I had to take this picture as quickly as possible because it literally felt like it was about to fall back and or ruin my very expensive board. In fact if the stands were a little bit taller I think they would fit.* possible modification:insert foam sticker inside one of the brackets to thicken up your Replica Surfaces. I’m not sure if it works it just sounds like it might work to tighten up any space between the board and the stand because replica surfaces are thin but durable boards. The only reason why I purchased the replica surfaces boards is because they have a board called sandstone which is one of my absolute favorite looks because I am so sick of seeing marble. LOL😁Now, I tested these with regular foam board and it did hold up except the foam boards are a lot lighter than replica surfaces. I also had the boards cut to a smaller display therefore they are lighter and these hold up foam board. But, beware .....if you are modifying the foam board it may be too thick to insert into the stand unless you just don’t put any extra material right in the corners....because any thicker than regular foam board and you may not be able to insert the foam board with modifications into these stands.
