Realeather SS0811-2002 Suede Leather Sheet for Crafting, 3-4oz, Medium Brown, 1-Piece

Really nice quality of suede leather that will be ideal for making thimbles for sewing, which I will be teaching some kids to do. The reverse side of it seems soft enough for this purpose, at least as one would expect for such a thing. The color of it is spot-on and consistent marbling, too. Were it not for this project that is coming up, these would make awesome zip cases, wallets, and any number of other accessories. I cannot yet speak toward the stamp ability of it, but just to say I think it is thick enough to accept that process. It’s not so thick that I don’t think we cannot pierce it with an awl for sewing it up with blunt leather needles and waxed thread. I am seriously hoping some is left over after this project, for the kids to use for making zip case zipper tabs with them.

Adequate suede for my use in lining woodworking vise jaws. I liked the convenient-to-handle sizes and adequate thickness.

One cat here went crazy for this suede piece and sleeps with his head on it. Another cat lays on it, purring all the while. No strong, offensive odors and it's a hit here.

Returned. Just didnt happen to be color match.

Patched a 50 yo coat with this. A little gorilla fabric glue and this patch... looks like new.

Found this on a YT video. More than enough material for an antler mount but take care with initial placement. Does stretch a bit which makes things manageable. Impressed how nice seams hid themselves as long as edges were sharply cut. Like most suede, appearance can change by brushing one direction or another. Medium Brown stands out just right with a darker plaque. With a bit of luck I will be buying more next season.

Spaltleder (Fleischspalt od. unterer Spalt) auch Spaltvelours oder Veloursleder oder mit dem Oberbegriff Rauleder bezeichnet. Beidseitig rau. Stärke 1,1 - 1,2 mm. Tatsächliche Größe war 21,6 x 27,6 cm.

Maybe a little unorthodox and not what it was intended for but I cut this into strips and used it to braid a handle on my prop axe! The material is very very pliable and soft, cut easily with sharp scissors and could be sewn together and stuck down with super glue. Feels strong for its thickness as well, quality product, exactly as described
