Quality you can trust
I like the fine tip of these bent chain nose pliers. You can really get into small crevices easily. They were also cheaper than the regular bent nose pliers made by Baby Wubbers. Very comfortable in my hand. I also love that these are made in the USA. I am new to making wire wrapped jewelry, I didn't want to spend too little on tools which I could have done since the hobby was so new. I also didn't want to spend a fortune which I considered doing while having googly eyes for a set of Lindstrom tools. I decided to go with a mid ranged price tool. I didn't buy a set of Baby Wubbers because buying them individually was cheaper. I purchased three Baby Wubbers tools and went with Xuron for my flat nose plier and wire cutters because they were cheaper and still made in the USA and are known for their quality.

Good quality, for small hands
I purchased these pliers as an upgrade from my previous pairs. I work with very small findings, so I thought the 5" size would be good. I would probably purchase the regular, larger size if I need a replacement in the future, but the handles on these are comfortable, and a big plus is that they are non-marking on metal. Good quality and will last me for many years.

Love My Wubbers
Of all of the baby Wubbers the bent chain nose is my favorite. I like it so much I bought another pair to use for working for chain links and jump rings. Good quality, well made, perfect size.

Nice design, but not durable.
My boyfriend and I run a jewelry business together and use bent nose pliers every day in our work. We ordered 4 pairs of these after reading the positive reviews, and at first they were fantastic! Very smooth, easy to use, and not fatiguing on the hands at all. We've had them for about 6 weeks now and only 1 pair is still usable. The tension springs have broken off of two of them, and the third pair is about to break as well. The fourth pair seems to be produced differently as the green foam padding is at least 5mm thicker than the other pairs and the tension spring shows no signs of wear - yet. It's really too bad these aren't more durable or they would be my favorite pliers!Wubber's website claims a lifetime warranty on all tools. I've sent them a message to see if I can get the 3 broken pairs replaced. Though if the new pairs are as flimsy as these, it might not be worth the time and energy.*Update*- a year later, I am still using these daily. I have a growing pile of broken ones, but I still can't seem to find a bent nose tool I like better.

My Pliers of Choice
I've used these for pretty much the entire time I've been doing chainmaille - they're my go-to pliers. They fit the hand nicely, grip the rings well, and don't leave marks on the enamel, as long as you know what you're doing. That said, I would advice absolute beginners to use a cheaper pair of pliers, just until they're sure they want to stick with chainmaille. The only thing I could possibly ask for improvement on is that the surfaces don't line up perfectly (though they're pretty close) so until you know what you're doing, the rings can slide and skid. Once you've gotten used to the pliers, though, that stops happening entirely.

and fine round nose pliers
I was looking to upgrade my jewelry making pliers and decided to spend the extra money to get these pliers. I bought the bent chain nose, chain nose, and fine round nose pliers. At first, they were great. The springs were just the right tension to avoid hand fatigue. The size was good for fine work with gemstones between 2mm - 8mm and wire from 28g to 18 gauge half hard wire. Less than a month later, the tension springs started to bend and the pliers would not spring open as easily. Out of the three that I purchased, two of the tension springs actually broke off, and the third is on the go. I returned the two and would have returned the last one but it was just over the 30 day policy. I have had my other tools for years that I have purchased for a third of the price last longer. I had high hopes for these and was very disappointed.I have gone through several brands and have found that beadalon ergo line seems to work best so far. I haven't had them that long, but so far so good.
