Bought this one for my daughter. She doesn't use it at school while taking notes but she uses it at home for homework. Perfect size, she can take it anywhere.

Just look at the before and after of this caffeine molecule. If you're only looking to use it to draw stuff I recommend the exam edition since it has a circle, cycloheptane, and cyclooctane stencil which should cover most of the organic molecules one might encounter, but the regular Pocket Chemist is jam-packed with physics, as well as chemistry constants and formulas. It's extremely sturdy yet lightweight and is even thinner than most plastic credit cards. I carry all four pocket tools at the same time and it barely adds any bulk to my wallet. It is literally the perfect gift for any chemistry fanatic. Can't recommend it enough!

The perfect organic chemistry stencil drawing template. Small as a credit card. Came with a transparent case. Very high quality material. Easy to carry around, perfect for exams and just for uni classes. I have not regretted my choice.

This stencil is great, way more sturdy than any plastic one I’ve found. Will definitely last well past my semester of O-Chem, should I ever want to traumatize myself again. Also makes a good, silent fidget while studying or in class.

I used it for every class and test, so incredibly helpful. I can not recommend these enough. I had to rave to my friends about it. Never do I have to spend time fixing and ugly shape again!!

I had a plastic version of this for drawing out structures in Organic Chemistry that got broken. I got this one because I like that it was small enough to fit in my pencil case, has all the essential structures, a ruler and it's metal, so it won't break easily. I took off once star because I found them to be a bit small and hard to use with a pen. A mechanical pencil works much better.

As a little bit of a perfectionist I use this every day. I purchased it for organic chemistry but have kept it as a pocket ruler for long after that class.

I won't lie, you don't need to use this thing once you draw enough structures in organic, it even gets to the point that it is useless, but, when I do want to make things look pretty - you can't beat it. Plus, the straight edge is also cool. I have used this maybe 10 times and then I got used to drawing regular structures - but it does it's job perfectly and is super well made.

I'm a biochemistry student and I use this every day for notetaking, labs, and exams. The quality is good, I can tell it'll last a long time. Makes my work so much neater. If you do any type of organic chemistry, this is a need.

It's doesn't bend easily. It's not heavy. It fits in a small pencil case.
