Yamaha NS-SW200PN 28-200 Hz 130W Powered Subwoofer

Yamaha Audio has always impressed my expectations. Owned cd player, A/V receiver and now sub-woofer. Strong for only being 8 inches for smaller rooms. Always easy setup and will buy Yamaha again.

Humming, crackling/popping and can hear gurgling over music. No rca audio cable supplied with system.

I am using this sub with a Yamaha 801 amp, and a pair of Martin Logan 40 speakes. It works well, and adds a lot of bottom end tothe system without being overpowering.

Bought for use with a Yamaha AS501, disappointing sound. Fairly good power and volume for it's size but sound quality is poor. At best it's like the bass is in another room wrapped in several moving blankets. Most recordings are like a tuba being blown under 10 feet of mud.

Dors just ehat you want from a subwoofer and it's in a small package. But, it has BIG sound. What you expect from Yamaha.
