This is a time-proven, classic American product. Easy to apply. I just use my fingers to rub it in. I don't think there's anything terribly toxic in it.It softens and conditions leather like neetsfoot oil but the beeswax content leaves a thin wax finish that can be buffed to a nice sheen.Best leather conditioning product I've used.

i don’t leave reviews often but this has really impressed me it makes all of my horse tack soft and supple and keeps it conditioned. it brought life back to a set of reins i had that got damaged in flood water when our house flooded this year. you would never be able to tell they had gotten damaged

First time to use this product, Huberd's leather dressiing but it will be WHAT WE WILL USE every time for my shoes. The conditioner to soften up our stiff leather was amazing. We put a coat on it at night and then the next morning. Not sure if I needed the next morning but did it anyway. No blisters the leather shoe wore great. Next to use it on our grandsons new baseball mit to soften and be able to catch the ball in outter field.

I support any local business before I'll purchase overseas products so Thanks for still keeping your product here in the USA, but this is pretty expensive for a small bottle of this and I find it no more better than any other leather conditioner I have bought in the past...It works good but so have the others for less but as I said I'll pay a little more to keep the Chinese out of the US and support our own US based merchant because in the long run the new generation is hurting us all with overseas products...

I have a pistol holster that I haven't taken very good care of. It had gotten extremely hard and had shrunk to the point that I could barely get my pistol out of it.I used my gloved fingers to rub the 'Dressing' inside and out several times. The leather soaked it up so fast that I thought my holster was actually a sponge. After several treatments, it finally left a bit of residual oil that I worked in. This process actually took a couple of days.Then I plastic wrapped my pistol, tool an old wash cloth with the dressing on it and "forced" it into the holster and let it set for 2 days. My hope was that with the extra thickness of the cloth that it would expand the leather... and that it did!!The holster is actually usable again!!! I'm thrilled!!!... and there's no residual oil feel.
