Okay, so I DID end up returning this Mixer, but hear me out! It wasn't because it was a bad product, it was just a little too small for the HUGE batches of cookies I like to make for, like, the whole neighborhood. That said, this mixer is seriously ADORABLE and feels super well-made for the price. Here's what I LOVED about it: Compact & Cute: Seriously, it's tiny! Perfect if you have limited counter space. The bright color (I got the aqua) was a total bonus. Powerful Enough: It handled some pretty thick cookie dough (before I realized I needed a bigger bowl!) without struggling. All 6 speeds seemed to work well. Lightweight: Easy to move around, which is a big plus for me. Easy to Clean: The bowl and attachments are all dishwasher safe, which is a HUGE time-saver. The 3 Quart Bowl is Sturdy: I was genuinely surprised at how robust it felt, especially considering the price point. Stainless steel is always a win! Tilt-Head Design: Made it easy to add ingredients and scrape the bowl. Great Value: Honestly, for the price, you can't beat this little mixer. Ultimately, I needed something bigger, but if you're a casual baker making smaller batches of cookies, cakes, or frosting, this DASH mixer is an absolute winner. It's powerful, easy to use, and looks great on your countertop! I'd totally recommend it!

Shipping time and everything included: This mixer arrived in 5 days. It came with two dough mixer attachments and two whisk attachments and one stainless steel bowl. Looks: The color of the mixer which is why I bought it is beautiful. The chromish strip at the top and through makes it look good but also at the same time makes it looks like horrible quality. Attachments removal: The mixer has a big eject button at the top to remove the attachments with ease. Bend the top back: There is a button on the right of the device which you hold down to bend the top up as shown in the second stock pic. The speeds presets: There are 6 speeds on the top right where it seems most of the time that 4 itself is high enough. I have not once gotten into a situation where the attachments had stopped and/or jammed. They were always spinning when set to, no matter how sticky the substance. Bottom lever: There is also a lever at the bottom front of the mixer where you pull left and right moving the bottom enough to find the perfect rotation of the bowl. If the bowl for some reason does not spin you just move the lever around and it should work. It also helps when there is something that was not mixed at one side of the bowl. To move the lever you hold it down and slide to as far as you want to move the bowl. Then you stop pushing it down and slightly move it left and right until it locks into place. It's very easy and no explanation was required to be honest. Suction cups and wire length: The length of the wire is about three feet long. There are five suction cups at the bottom which as soon as put down, allow the mixer to be in place making it hard to accidentally knock down. This has been useful in many occasions. The bowl placement: When placing the bowl onto the mixer you simple put it on the black surface and simply spin the bowl to the left while holding the black surface in place. Though one problem I have noticed with this is how easily it removes. I feel that it might spin off when it is set on a high preset speed but I have not once actually experienced it. I have used it on high settings and stopped it to see if the bowl had come loose but it stayed rotated far to the left to be considered locked. It seems safe and doesn't seem like it will spin off but it looks, just by the eyes, like it is loose which just turns out to be how it looks. It's not actually loose. My thoughts: Personally I felt it is worth it for the price this mixer is at right now. The speed settings make it well worth it. The slider seems to work fine and the best part is that it isn't some cheap mixer that gets stuck when mixing some hard substance. Definitely worth it for its price.

I originally learned of this product while at a thrift store. I found one that was used and crusty, but still functional, for $20, but found out that I could buy it "used - like new" on amazon for only $8 more. After receiving it, I tried it out by making some no-bake cheesecake filling. It struggled for a moment with the cream cheese, but worked perfectly fine after I pushed the cream cheese down into the bowl again and off of the beaters. I did end up finding some lumps of cream cheese in the final cheesecake filling, but that may have been due to user error. However, do keep in mind that the beaters do not reach the bottom of the bowl, meaning you may have to be more involved to ensure everything is thoroughly mixed. It did manage to make whipped cream pretty easily on the highest setting, and did not take too long to reach stiff peaks. It is relatively easy to clean, though I do think some amount of debris may be stuck in the little plastic bits on the bottom part of the beaters. I am not sure how to clean that part, but I am not too concerned about it. For such a small and inexpensive stand mixer, it is extremely powerful and moves very fast. Fair warning, it is LOUD even on the lowest setting, which is already very fast. I do wish that there was a slower setting, but it gets the job done just fine regardless. You should also keep in mind that the bowl does not spin on its own with thin mixtures, so you will have to manually spin it until your mixture thickens. I had no issues with it shaking due to the suction cups on the bottom of the machine, which was nice. While being very stable, it was still easy for me to manually detach it, and lightweight and small enough that I had no trouble putting it up into the pantry for storage. If I could, I would absolutely consider getting the full matching set of appliances that Dash offers, if only they all came in pink!

This is a fantastic mixer for beginner bakers who have small kitchens! It’s really adorable and compact. I absolutely love the fun aqua color. It’s probably not the best mixer on the market, but for such a low price it’s very high quality and a great deal! It's small but perfect for small batch baking. It’s very compact, which makes it convenient to store, and it’s lightweight, which makes it easy to move around and clean. It’s easy to set up, take apart, and clean. All of the attachments and the bowl attach securely. The tilt head works great and is super helpful for adding ingredients to the bowl. The whole unit is very sturdy and durable. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, so there is not much of a learning curve. The suction cups are quite strong and keep the mixer firmly in place. All 6 speeds work well, and the fastest speed is quite powerful. Consequently, you can use this mixer to make pretty much anything! I highly recommend this product and think it would make a great gift for a novice baker with limited counter space!

The mixer is compact, which is great for a small apartment like mine. It’s very easy to set up and the instructions are clear. However, The difference between the slowest and fastest setting, is too small. Even on the lowest speed, the beaters spin way too fast, it’s difficult to knead dough with it since it’s too aggressive on it. Additionally, the bowl secures on to a base that you can shift around while, allowing you to make sure the beaters can get everything on the sides of the bowl while you rotate it (just make sure to rotate clockwise, otherwise you’ll losen the bowl from it’s base). Ultimately, I think it’s great for when you can beat things super fast, like creaming butter and sugar or making whipped cream, but it’s too aggressive for recipes that involve flour and don’t need too much gluten development. Pizza dough? Great for that, although you might have to knead it by hand once it’s all mixed. Chocolate chip cookies? Not so great, since the development of gluten is something you don’t want, and, unless you mix all the dry ingredients at once and make a mess, you will be adding them little by little, which might overwork the dough. Ultimately, for the price, it’s decent. It might also be worth noting that it’s as loud (or even louder) than my vacuum cleaner, so take that into consideration if you plan on using it at odd hours.

Works well for the price. I wanted a KitchenAid and had to settle for this but I’m not too disappointed. It comes with regular beaters and dough hooks, 6 settings (I think) and a large bowl. The mechanisms were a little confusing at first but I figured them out easily. The bowl has a feature that allows you to have the option to settle your beaters smack in the middle of the bowl or scrape the side which will cause the bowl to rotate by itself. It’s good for baking where you have to “add while mixing”. There’s also a mechanism in place that allows you to lock the bowl so it won’t wobble out while mixing. The bowl has some screws on the bottom I think so I haven’t washed it in my dishwasher and have only washed it (along with everything else) by hand. It’s a little loud but when you have it going for longer than 40 seconds it becomes easily to tune out. I’ll probably still switch to a KitchenAid and keep this one as a backup to make frosting at the same time or buttermilk/whip cream but it’s a good mixer to start out with if you desperately need on. *EDIT* Have had this Mixer since May of 2019 and it is now Feb 2020. Can say I still use it often and works great! It’s still a little loud but I don’t mind it, I used the dough hooks to make bread & regular beaters for pumpkin bread, homemade buttermilk, brownies etc. works great for all! I’ve used it probably 50 times between then and now and it works well still. Still haven’t gotten my KitchenAid but will make the switch eventually. I still wouldn’t throw this one out though; it’s really not that bad and would recommend to anyone that just needs a mixer currently (: happy baking!!

Very small, the first level speed is full throttle on a normal mixer, higher speed literally starts throwing stuff you’re mixing out of the bowl. I wouldn’t recommend this. Go to the store and pick one out, this is literally a toy mixer! Put a large size ketchup bottle next to it for reference.

It’s pretty and good size for my curating area. Small but mighty I love it. I may upgrade in a year or two.

Considering the price of this mixer i cannot fault it at all. I bought this for my small business making batches of cosmetics/bath products. The bowl is so much bigger than I thought and is quite tall, which is perfect when adding powdered ingredients as they don’t puff out when you turn the mixer on. Even the slowest setting was good enough to whip up solid Shea butter easily which I was quite impressed with. There is an option to slide the bowl along the base with a lever, this isn’t something I’ve seen before but found it really useful because you can move the bowl to make sure the beaters catch whatever is on the sides. The stainless steel is really easy to clean and the design is lovely and very cute. It’s compact and small but still big enough to make a decent amount. I have even put away my expensive kenwood mixer and replaced it with this one because it is so much more user friendly and light. You can fit it in a narrow kitchen cupboard with loads of space still. It is so sturdy as well and the materials are probably better quality than mixers I’ve had costing over £100. I’ve also found expensive mixers might shake a lot and move around on the worktop but this didn’t even budge. I love this little mixer and honestly can’t find one thing wrong with it for the price which surprised me as I wasn’t expecting much for £13. I’ve seen a lot of people write negative reviews on this mixer (there are a few on amazon) because it is small but that is the whole point and it is ridiculously cheap.

When I unpacked this mixer, I was unsure if it would be any good. It is very light, and seemed a bit flimsy - which was not surprising considering the price. However, I have used it a few times now and my initial impressions have been disproved. I have used it to mash potatoes, 2 very dense cookie batters, and a few other recipes with no issues. One thing I wanted to find out was if it would be good for persons with limited strength. It would be quite good for this purpose as it is very light, plus it uses very little exertion to lever the top to add the beaters and fit the bowl underneath. I plan to buy one for my sister who has very limited strength issues. I’m sure she will be able to use this mixer easily. Well worth the low cost!!

Such a great mixer for the price! 😀 Just whipped up a batch of brownies no problem! Bowl is far bigger than i was anticipating and compared to how it even looks! Plenty of speed choices and has the option of moving the bowl from side to side both to add ingredients and to mix the whole bowl. Always use a spatula to get any missed ingredients in my other one anyways. It’s really lightweight and small so good for storage 🙂 comes with two beater types for cakes etc and doughs. Even comes with a book of little recipes :) Overall would definitely recommend :)
