Heaven and Earth (Three Sisters Island Trilogy, 2)

Awesome book and series. Nora Roberts doesn’t disappoint. Would recommend the whole series so far. Lots of romance, magic and suspense.

Dr. Mack Booke has come to Three Sisters Island to see if there is anything to the notion that the Island was forged by three witches and has supernatural power. The geeky, accident prone Professor did not expect to encounter the very capable Sheriff Ripley Todd who seems to fascinate him both physically and mentally. Fearing that she will make the same mistakes her ancestors made, Ripley stopped using her supernatural powers long ago and is determined to suppress her magic. Love, coupled with her desire to protect those she loves, Ripley eventually confronts her fears and the very real danger that the group faces. With an evil from the recent past (Nell's ex-husband) still on all of their minds, the three women (and the men that love them) wonder what the darkness they feel truly means. This is the 2nd in the Sisters Island Trilogy. I enjoyed seeing the gang again...Nell is living happily ever after with Sheriff Zachary Todd (Ripley's brother), there are hints of things to come concerning Mia (who lost her love years ago), and there are even premonitions about all of their futures. However, what I really enjoyed the most was the evolution of Ripley, seeing how she comes to find love and an acceptance of her gifts, which will work well when it comes to the eventual showdown that I am sure will take place in Book 3, Mia's story. I recommend this story to any readers who enjoy Nora Roberts. She has woven a decent story that has some supernatural happenings and romance.

I can't get enough of her books. I know I'll read them all over again. Can't wait to get the next book.

As usual, Nora Roberts delivers another excellent series. This series was one of the first Nora Roberts books I discovered. Since then, and yeah, I'm a guy, and I lift weights, and I'm a straight macho guy, ad nauseum, but I love Nora Robert's writings, I have read thirty five of her books in the last three months. The ladies at my favorite restaurant enjoy talking to me about Nora Roberts. I have a couple of them reading Nora Roberts and one lady and I are exchanging different copies of her books. Enjoy this series. It is one of her best. It has the best blend of magic, romance, good plot twists, and strong characterization. Her series creates a desire in you to pick up the atlas and start hunting down the island and it's inhabitants. And guys...with Nora Roberts you just might gather a little insight into the minds of these amazing female creatures. One hint...bring lots of chocolate and never forget what outfit and scent she wore the first time you met her. Nora...I'm about to figure you out!

This is the second novel in the Three Sisters trilogy and I loved it. I’ve already read the first, “Dance on Air”, and am currently reading the last and third, “Face the Fire”. Can’t wait to see what happens in the end.

Enjoyed the second story as much as the first and I am looking forward to the third book in the trilogy. Nora Roberts is so good at making her characters real. Witchcraft is not my favorite genre but this series is quite good although I thought the first book was more believable and real than the second. It will be interesting to see how it all comes together in the last book.

Nora Robert’s is a great author. This book is second in a trilogy of her books. I enjoyed the 1st book and this book is just as good!

Ripley is such a great character, and the Roberts sensory writing is rich in this trilogy. Magical and deliciously thrilling at times.

O primeiro da trilogia é o melhor. Tive dificuldade com a personalidade dessa personagem: muito reclamona, chata. O heroi .... maravilhoso, nerd e lindo. O casal não emplacou para mim. Até que no terceiro livro ela melhorou. Como são 3 livros, não dá para nao ler o segundo....

Book 2 of the trilogy. This trilogy just keeps on giving. It sucks you in, grabs hold, and drags you along for the ride. Another brilliant story. Can't wait for the third
