Country of manfacture?

I may be mistaken but I think I read that Cross Pens were now being manufactured in China. They are not as heavy as they once were, but the two I purchased in the last couple of years worked well.

Is this pen good for daily use?

Yes everyday use would be good. The finish isnt impressive but it has a standard quality twist mechanism that should last forever and never open in a pocket. It uses a ballpoint tip (they come in diff tip sizes and ink colors). Ball point ink doesnt usually smear or easily run if it gets wet. The refills seem to last a long time tho they dont hold the same amount of ink as most rooler jell pebs. I gave my wife one and i like mine alot.

Will the click off cap stay secured to the back of the pen during use? That is, does it click or snap on? -

The pen is very securely put together. I've had this for a couple years and have had zero problems of any sort.
