Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons Hand Puppet, 14.5-Inch

Adorable! Super soft! A little hard to use just because of the finger placements but still super fun! It’s small and foldable, so you can fit it anywhere!

My grandson absolutely LOVES the book and asks me to read it repeatedly. I have the "Pete the Cat" stuffed toy and he plays with it while I read the stories to him (and I actually was considering making a shirt with velcro buttons to reinact with the story). After seeing the puppet, I just had to get it. It is a nice size and is easy to maneuver. My only disappointment is that only one of the buttons pops off (it is attached by a string so it won't get lost or disappear in little one's mouth) which I feel won't be as big a hit with the kiddies when reading the story because in the story, all 4 buttons pop off to reveal his belly button, and I believe my grandson will be trying to pop off all of the buttons and become disappointed when that doesn't happen. I guess I will still make a yellow shirt for the stuffed toy where the four buttons can pop off, and will sew a "belly button" on the toy as well. That way, it flows with the story in exact detail and my grandson will be able to reinact. Thus, that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I think it will still be a hit with the little ones and would recommend. I feel it would be great to have in a classroom for a Preschool or Kindergarten teacher story aide. Addendum: I failed to mention that the shirt does close with velcro, and when opened does reveal a belly button on the puppet. I discovered that on my own as it was never mentioned when I placed my order to get it. Now my grandson likes to open the shirt revealing the belly button. ;)

Pete the cat is one of my 2yr old grandson's favorite characters. So cool, it's also a hand puppet. The beautiful colors are just like the photo.

Cute and well made, but quite expensive. My students love it when the puppet reads his stories to them. As advertised, but a bigger size would be better.

My 4 year old son loves the Pete the cat books and once he saw this puppet he got soooo excited !!! Great buy and nice quality !

My grandson loves his Pete the cat puppet, he packs it with him everywhere he goes, he loves it so much that I bought a second one in case he loses the first one, he needs Pete to go to bed with him everynight
