Good keyboard with okay software.
I purchased this to replace a 4 year old 413S. I love the RGB functionality on this board the app could use some UX upgrades however is functional. The switch sound is not very loud and they never miss a beat no matter how fast I type or if minimal pressure is used. I don't like how the special characters row is printed and doesn't allow any pass through of light it can be hard to see them when it is dark. I haven't experienced the paint degradation others have mentioned I've used this keyboard for 10 months so far and as you can see there's a tiny amount of paint missing from the s key, I am a programmer and have written ~20-30,000 lines of code and I have also played countless hours of games without issue. All in all a lovely keyboard.

What you should be aware of
Bought this to replace my very cheap Zalman membrane keyboard and the difference is like going from night to day, it is very heavy and solid so it doesn't slide around when you are using it, same for the palm-rest which is well padded with high density memory foam and feels very comfortable. The GX brown tactile keys feel very responsive and I find the "click" sound to be quite satisfying and much quieter than I expected, on Discord I hear other gamers with much louder keys, some to the point of being really annoying. Overall it feels and looks like a quality product and the brushed aluminium face really sets the look off.If RGB is your thing then the software when I played around with it should cater for all your needs, it's not mine and I have all my RGB set to blue. Also the RGB is not as bright as found on some other keyboards but I prefer this more subdued lighting. You should also be aware that this is the UK layout and not the US layout as shown in some of the images. The main differences are the enter key is narrower and taller replacing the backslash key above it which is relocated between the Z key and the smaller Shift key. Some of the symbol keys are in different places. The symbols on the top number row appear below the numbers and are not illuminated as they are in the US version and the media keys in front on the function key row are not lit either. A big mistake on Logitech's part I feel, especially for software designers as these are the keys that are most used for programming. Also it doesn't have the full range of media keys that my Zalman had dedicated keys for but as I never bothered using those this wasn't a problem for me.Overall I am very happy that I purchased this keyboard, especially at this price point. I bought this on sale for £109 and a few days later they were selling for £74.99 and Amazon when contacted refunded the difference, that made it 1/2 the price of buying from Logitech directly so that was an added bonus. There are later models available with more features but I went with this model simply for it's looks and it does not disappoint. And lastly, if and when you purchase this keyboard you may find yourself wondering what that very strange threaded hole found centre rear on this keyboard is actually for!!! It looks like a tripod mount housing which will fit in there BUT WHY? It won't take any pictures. Actually this screw hole is vestigial. It was baked into the chassis design in anticipation of a feature that never materialized. It was going to be used for developer kits for the Logitech Bridge SDK. The idea was that using the HTC Vive Tracker, you could have a physical Logitech keyboard that gets reproduced virtually inside a VR environment, a project that has since been shelved or cancelled but the screw hole can still be found on some models from Logitech.

Robust
I changed to this after having a Roccat Titan Aimo 120 which started falling apart less than 6 months after I got it and was unusable after 18 months. The keys are not as light and responsive by comparison and the lights aren't quite as bright. But I love that the "white" colour makes it look like just a normal keyboard with key etchings that are clear even in the dark and that it can be set to make a colour burst when you press each key. This makes it almost like "stealth" RGB.The unit is a full keyboard without useless macro keys and is as compact as a full keyboard can be for that reason. Similarly, there are no media controls. It's a keyboard. It is very heavy for such a small board given that the frame is solid aluminium that this gives a reassuring feel of quality. The padded wrist rest is far superior to all the hard plastic magnetic ones most other manufacturers supply. It does not connect to the keyboard at all but rather has non slip discs underneath. So it just sits there and does its job very well.I've given 4 stars in some areas simply because I'd have been spoiled by the far more expensive Roccat should it have continued to work. But this board does seem a lot more robust even though only time can prove that. Despite the missing star, and given the difference in price, I would tentatively suggest this keyboard is far superior to most that cost a lot more, including the Titan, and right now it does what I expected and does it well enough.

High quality and sleek aesthetic
A very high quality feeling keyboard, with a sleek aesthetic and minimal design. The included wrist rest is comfortable. The keyboard comes with 12 extra key caps with bigger 'grooves' to replace the most common keys used for gaming (1-5, QWERASD), if that's your thing, but I find the standard ones perfectly fine. The RGB software seems very versatile and allows for a lot of customisation. The keyboard includes an additional USB 2 port on the back, which some people complain about but is absolutely fine for connecting many peripherals such as a wireless mouse dongle like I have. If you don't want to waste a USB 3 port on your case, don't connect the passthrough.I have brown switches and they feel good, though I have no experience of any others as this is my first mechanical keyboard. Also, beware that typing on it is quite loud, but this is going to be the case with all mechanical keyboards. It doesn't bother me but might bother other people you're sharing the room with.
