This fits in my hand, which is not a problem. I don't need a giant incense burner. It's heavy, well made and beautiful. I use it for charcoal and resin. I'm sure a cone would fit, depending on the size. It's not meant to burn a stick with the lid on. I'm not sure what's up with other reviewers, but this was perfect for me.

Very small, almost no bigger than my palm but fits an incense stamp easily. Remarkably good craftsmanship for the price and the tiny handles are so cute.

This is a really nice-looking burner with a classic Eastern aesthetic. it comes with s tick holder for multi sizes of thickness and also a holder for coils. inside is a metal dish with some sort of fireproof material. There are tiny vented holes on the top.So why only three stars? It's not all enough to burn cone incense with the top on. Which means, it's really only perfectly suited for rope incense or maybe powder. Part of the whole reason for buying a burner with a lid is that the lid acts as a diffuser so you get a nice wafting plume of smoke. Also, incense burned this way is less-susceptible to wind.To its credit it did burn about 3/4 of a piece of rope incense (they are notorious for going out, so that's about par). But i had hoped to use this with cones, and that's a no can do unless you cut the cone at the top, which would obviously reduce its burn time. So, kinda bummed there. Luckily, i do have some more rope incense. If you do burn it this way, the shorter rope sections work best, as you want to keep the rope away from the sides so it will burn longer.I considered returning it, but it is one of my nicest-looking burners, so it does have ornamental quality. It's also super shiny in the gold-colored sections. A more antiqued finish option would have been nice. But maybe it will acquire a patina over time.

I ordered blue and they sent purple ..although it looks black.The workmanship looks rushed, sharp metal protrusions, peices of sharp metal falling out of bottom. Bottom holder not glued in place and a sloppy paint job.

Very beautiful and well made. Got it to store resin for burning over other charcoal burner so it’s amazing as just a storage box for little things. Happy with it.
