Loved the ease of use and how the product performed. Wish I had purchased one sooner. Did a great job of keeping boat in place and away from shore. Very easy to use and set up. Definitely recommend if you don’t want to beach your boat.

I purchased the Anchor Buddy in advance of a trip to the Florida Keys. We had a variety of excursions planned with our 19' Key West center console bay boat and it worked very well in each application. Attaching from boat to buoy made snorkeling stops easy. It also worked well from boat to anchor for shallow water fishing stops. I also used it, along with a longer anchor line and Danil SS knotless anchor hooks, for anchoring in deeper water (50+ feet) and the Anchor Buddy worked well as a shock absorber. My only critique: The SS anchor shackel is still clean but the spring loaded hook rusted very quickly and will soon get replaced. Note this is still a five star review as the Anchor Buddy all but eliminated one of the more painful parts of boating.

Keeps your boat in place while swimming or hanging with friends on the lake. One in front and one in back while parked with other boats to prevent drifting.

Works well with my 21 foot sport boat. This is my third purchase of this rope. The first one I broke when I got it tangled in my boat's propeller. The second lost it's elasticity after a sudden rush of water coming down the river tried to take my boat. The elastic broke but the rope held so I didn't lose my boat.

As many know, keeping an anchor in place when stopped for swimming in a pontoon boat can be a challenge unless you use a large and heavy anchor. Instead I use this AB40000B Anchor Buddy. It flex's as the wind tries to push a pontoon boat around. Anchor holds very well and this Anchor Buddy is rated for much heavier weight than an anchor.
