Would these work to raise dining room chairs?

Possibly. I purchased them for that purpose as well but ultimately had to return them. You will need screws (not included in the package). If you have wooden chair legs, you can screw these in (though would be careful not to crack the wood), then they would work. Our chairs were metal so we couldn’t make it work.

I wanted to put these on the bottom of a 3 x 5 buffet that I am putting in my bathroom as a sink base. Will these hold the weight, with a sink etc.

I weigh 230 lbs and can stand on a platform with these as a base with no problem. Beyond that, I cannot advise you. John
