nice, just get right size.
these are nice but have to get right size,my husband needed short but got regular.the inside seem was real baggy, and just hemming the legs would not help.

There's no school like the old school: comfortable and durable, purely utilitarian workwear.
I used other people's reviews to help with sizing. So here's mine, if it helps:Height: 6' 1 1/2" Weight: 215-230 lbs.The XL Tall fits perfectly. A touch loose, which is good because in winter I will wear jeans and long sleeve shirts underneath.I have had a pair of these for a over a year. They have gotten a lot of use. Every time I go out to the shop (woodworker), garden, paint, mow the lawn, home improvement, even cleaning the house sometimes, I wear these. They are marked with wood stain, glue and paint and even as much as I wear them they are showing no sign of wearing out. They have not shrunk and fit just as well today as when I bought them. These are great. But let's face it: I do look like a Ghostbuster (especially since I have the khaki color). But who cares? Yes I wear them in public. So in the middle of a project when I go to Home Despot (not a typo), I wear these. Anyway, if you feel you need to dress nicely to go to the home center, then your man card needs to be revoked. I wear a suit to work and I own a tuxedo. But when I perform manual labor, I wear these. These are so comfortable you will wish you had bought them years ago. In the summer when it is 90 degrees and humid. I don't have heavy jeans on. They are loose and comfortable. In the cold, I wear jeans, and a long sleeve shirt underneath, a hoodie over top, and if need be a coat and I'm still perfectly comfortable. And let's face it: no pants and shirt means no plumber's crack (which is a good enough reason to buy a pair). This also means every time you get up you don't have to hike your pants back up.No bells, no whistles. Let's face it. You're gonna use these to dig a hole, cut a piece of wood, lay tile, etc. Not fly an F-22.Just buy them, you won't regret it.

Pretty good coverall - for women too
I got this to put over my clothes while I'm cleaning a print shop. I ordered a small-short but still expected to be swimming in it because I'm a 5'3" woman and not particularly curvy. (I wear a women's size S or 4; I had bought one of those Red Kap coveralls before, and even the smallest size required a lot of taking in for me to be able to wear it.) Happily, it fits well around the torso and butt. It's too long in the legs but that's what I expected, and nothing else required any alteration. I have them rolled up in the photo but plan on hemming them eventually. It's comfy. The material feels tough but is not very thick; I learned that the hard way when oily ink blotches on the outside transferred onto my legs a little bit. On the other hand, I don't get overheated in this the way I did in the thicker Red Kap suit. It's good for summer. If you're looking for a very heavy-duty work coverall or something that keeps you warm, this probably isn't thick enough. But I would recommend it for everyday fashion or general workwear for any gender.

Good quality
Decent quality, but by the next size up from what you think you need. Just a wee bit tight.

Quality product
Excellent quality and fit. I tried other brands, but they do not hold up like the Dickies!!

Fit, Not Frills: Dickie's Coveralls are a Basic Too Far
Flash-sum: Dickie's Short Sleeve Coveralls fit fast and cheap, but like the title says: don't have belt loops, big enough pockets, or pass-through slits which you should expect for the asking price.I ordered from the Amazon sizing chart. The coveralls arrived fast and fit me right out of the package. Didn't shrink or fade on the first wash. Fabric feels comfortable--not too cool in my open garage and not too hot in the cozy office. Aside from the double-zipper which opens the coveralls at either the throat or the waist, there are snap buttons to secure the breech. This pair fits right over my Carhartt Relaxed Fit Straight Leg jeans, and over the tourist t-shirts my father gives me for Christmas every year. Likewise when I'm down to just skivvies underneath, the coveralls do not sag or appear baggy. There's an elastic bit on the hips which seems to help seat them as girth changes. Great that I can wear the coveralls over my shop clothes, but that also highlights a pretty major flaw. There are no belt loops. Don't know about you folks, but I sling tools off my hip when wearing duds like these. Even if that means a big dumb wrap-around Sam Browne-style belt, I would still wear an underbelt with keepers--just like a cop's duty gear--to stop it from dropping around my ankles. I really cannot imagine the idea of any coverall other than a disposable plastic goober shield not having belt loops. You can see the lapse right in the product picture; a bit less apparent are the shallow and small storage. I stick brushes and pliers in my pockets, friends and neighbors, and I'll bet you do too. Even for a basic coverall made in Mexico, I should be able to tuck my 3 x 5 shop notebook in my breast along with a pen. No go for this model, and frankly that's another error that doesn't compute.Counterpoint: these coveralls are meant to be worn over regular pants, so stick yer belt and pens in there! If that is the case, then these coveralls need to have a pass-through slit behind the hip pockets so you can get at your stuff. No pass-though. Just open the zipper above your waist and begin fumbling through. As a comparison, my US Navy coveralls, then manufactured by American Apparel, were priced in the same range as Dickie's with loops aplenty and wide chest pockets to hold our notebooks and pens, and nice deep hip pockets to tuck in a Maglite. Looking on Amazon, there does not currently appear to be any coverall offered which approaches the desired features. So for folks who don't mind paying out thirty bucks to keep the paint off your elbows and knees, these Dickies are a reliable fit. They wash well and wear well and for many of you that will be enough. I need to see more features for the cash I spend, so personally I'll be checking around for something that includes what I want.
