Excellent function, easy installation
The retaining clip broke on one of my current hood struts. Purchased these and replaced the pair. Pretty easy replacement. Lifts and holds very well. Much less expensive than the OEM product.2008 BMW 750 LI

Excellent, Easy Install, Strong Hood Control
I installed these on a 2008 BMW 750i as the hood would no longer stay up.Simplest install ever. Just pop the old spring clamps on the original struts and pull them off.The new ones just push right in place over the existing balls with no need to loosen the spring clamps.The top head can twist around, which you may need to do to align it with the ball.After installation, the hood stayed open very firmly.
