SEE UPDATE BELOW!KRYO has a new formulation with strong perfume. Ordered this 6/23/21. The perfume permeates the entire chili pad and everything in contact or near contact to the chili pad. I didn’t sleep all night after cleaning my chili pad due to intense perfume smell all around me. I had to remove and drain the unit and pad several times, while running several cleaning cycles with distilled water through the pad, draining it each time. I had to wash the chili pad and all my sheets, mattress protector, blankets, pillow, and pillowcase before I could rid my surroundings of this strong smell. I am requesting a refund and will contact the company to inquire how I will now be able to clean my pad without a cleaner if this is all they have available. I’ve had my pad for years and cleaned it with the “old” solution monthly without any problems. I can’t imagine why they added so much perfume to their formulation.Update 7/4/21: I called the company and they are thinking the cleaner I got was a bad run and that they had actually reduced the perfume in the new formula. They are sending me new packets and were extremely responsive to me. I have always had great experiences with customer service. Changing to 5 stars because of their response and helpfulness.

This is an amazing product. We probably would not have purchased it if it had not been so highly rated by Consumer Reports. We live in a 1904 house in which the AC doesn't work as well on second floor where we sleep. I was to the point of contemplating paying the $20,000 to have a second unit put in these old tight spaces. And Voila, ChiliPad was invented! Way cheaper and more environmentally friendly. This hot mama LOVES the Chilipad her husband bought her. Best gift ever.

This is seriously the best invention ever! I can't even tell you how well-rested I am or how much better my sleep has been. It's incredibly easy to use and clean. It regulates your temperature or fluctuating temperatures with the push of a button. I could never have gotten through chemotherapy without this pad. I placed it on the bed with the intention of removing it once chemo and radiation were finished. Never ever took it off. It only comes off for washing and then right back on the bed. Very easy to wash and reinstall. We will be buying another one for the guest bedroom!

The Chili Pad has changed my life. For most of my adult life I have awakened about 4 times a nights. Too hot to sleep. I would throw off the covers. Then wake cold and cover up. My room temp is 64-66 degrees. Now I can sleep through the night. With the pad set at 67. I found that a twin size is just right for a full sized bed. That leaves an edge if I want to get off the pad. I also found my feet would get too cold half way through the night. I pulled the pad over the head of the mattress so my feet would not touch the pad. That cured the problem. I will definitely buy again if needed.

Do not buy this product.I've used my Ooler daily for about two years without issue. I wanted to do some deep cleaning on my unit to prolong its life and found this (expensive) product to be recommended by the manufacturer. I followed the directions exactly. That very night, I woke up to a unit that turned off due to low water and a wet carpet. Water was pouring out of the control unit. I reached out to the OEM for guidance, but they said there was nothing they could do and offered 25% off a new system. I'm convinced the chemicals in this product caused rapid degradation of the Ooler hoses, making the product inoperable.
